NBC's "Today Show" this morning covered the battleground state of Virginia, and interviewed a family named "The Jansen's" from Leesburg, VA. Until recently, Ann Jansen and her husband Stacey (sp?) had been 'undecided' between Obama or McCain, but have now opted on voting for Obama.
What the piece fails to point out is that Ann Jansen is a bigtime Democratic campaign official/contributor in Loudoun County, VA, or as someone in the D.C. Radio & Television blog pointed out this morning:
"Today show gets duped!!! On the Today Show they highlighted a Leesburg, VA family who claimed to be a family crossing party lines to vote for Obama. Ann Janse has been an outspoken Democratic leader in Loudoun for many years!! Nice research NBC(DNC). (9/24/08)"
So there ya have it. Oh, and I also found out this on an "Ann Jansen from Leesburg, VA" in the Huffington Post. It's a $345 donation to the Obama campaign in March 2008:

Good catch on the article, this stuff (media bias and deliberate manipulation) is everywhere and we don't catch all of it.

Anyone who thinks that the Today Show was duped, I’ve got a bridge to sell them.
I’m sure it went like this. The producer of the Today Show called the DNC, or more likely the Obama Campaign direct, and asked, “What can we do to help you get Obama’s poll numbers back up?”
And the Obama handler said, “Thanks for your help. I have just the family for you to interview. Here’s the details. . . .”
Or maybe it’s more likely that the Obama handler called the producer, and not the other way around. It’s simpler when you can just fax everyone from the White House Basement, the way the clintons did. But no doubt Obama has a similar operation somewhere in Chicago, staffed by Daley operatives.
Oh, wait a minute....
The “Today Show” BO operatives don’t mind being viewed as having “egg” on their face. ...”shoot! Really!? We should’ve checked our facts out more thoroughly! We’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to our viewers”!

Absolutely correct and its driving them crazy. Its like this ABC polling crap showing obumper 10 points ahead....its BS and people know its BS. The internet and radio have screwed things up royally for the liberal spin machine.
People know what Obama is about....they know about his racist background, they know hes a gun grabber, they know he's a rabid abortionist, that he wants to appease enemies of our country, that he cant form a cognizant thought without reading words from a teleprompter. They know the media and Hollywood are campaigning for him and against McCain. They also know the country is falling in love with Sarah Palin because she is actually one of us. They know all these things and they realize they are going to loose and loose big time which is why they attack with such vehemence. They know these things but just cant accept them because they still see themselves as some monolithic force that cant be denied. I fart in their general direction, their BS aint going to work this time but they will keep trying.
If it were illegal for the media to lie, they all would be serving life without parole!
It doesn’t matter that NBC has lost all journalistic credibility or that they LIE to their viewers.
Their point they are trying to make is a sound one: News organizations should be allowed to trick voters and indoctrinate Americans with their Left Wing beliefs and even though they are prohibited they should be able to openly campaign for a Presidential candidate that is liberal and believes in big government and high taxes.
The calculation for the leftists is a simple one - if more people accepted the fraudulent segment than learned it was a lie, they win.
You would think they would just plug a person’s name into google and find out they are the Obama Campaign Chairman for the Eastern Seaboard!
“We at NBC shall apologize profusely, profusely to the American people for our unwitting complicity in this horribly dishonest report. We have reserved broadcast time for our heartfelt apology on November 10th. Or 12th. We’ll have to get back to you on that. And now...how the Obamas met...love in bloom!”
