(NEW YORK) They scold us for “being unfair,” remind us to “ask all the candidates the same questions,” and occasionally, they boo us.

From Canton to Colorado, some of the tens of thousands of people attending Sarah Palin’s rallies regularly take it upon themselves to give the media a piece of their minds.

So I thought it only fair to turn the microphone around, and give a handful of rally attendees a chance to air their grievances about the way in which the media has covered the Republican vice presidential nominee.

They take Axis Sally’s old view (American born Nazi propagandist) that you should not embrace the USA “my country right or wrong” yet they, like Sally, are unwilling to step back and take the same attitude to their employers and direct a critical eye toward their own abuses, excesses, lies, and wrongs.

It is unfair that he puts “being unfair” in scare quotes as if he has no idea what they are talking about.

Why not point a microphone also on the Left wingers who insist that this media has been overly conservative? Let them spout the talking points from the Daily Worker and Daily KOS.

There's always a big media naval gazing meeting after elections. (Watch for it on C-Span) They always come to the conclusion that they provided balanced information to the public. They live in an echo chamber & any outsider trying to give them an alternate view is written off, the one who's trying to get through to them is stupid or ignorant.

I don’t get it, but the bias of the media is palpable. Anything traditionally American is to be scorned. Anything eurosocial is wonderful. Let them follow their hearts and move to Europe and live the lifestyle of their dreams.
