ADRIAN, Mich. -
A television advertisement by the National Rifle Association featuring Scott Siefert of Ogden Township is scheduled to begin airing Wednesday in Michigan.
In the ad Seifert outlines his support for the right to keep and bear arms, and criticizes Sen. Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential candidate, for his gun-control positions.
In one part of the ad, Seifert states: “Because I believe in traditional American values, go to church, exercise my right to own a firearm, Barack Obama says I’m bitter. Well, I’m not bitter; I’m blessed.”
The ad, “Way of Life,” already has aired in several other states. It can be viewed at www.gunbanobama.com under “Watch Our Latest Ads," or at this link.
Seifert explained that his wife, Rachel, has a coworker whose son works for the NRA in Washington.
“They contacted me because they know I hunt and am big about gun-owners rights,” Seifert, 27, said.
A hunter for 15 years, Seifert said the advertisement was filmed at his home on Sheldon Road. NRA president Wayne LaPierre attended.
“He just thanked me for donating my time and property to protect the Second Amendment,” Seifert said.

Well, I actually AM bitter, but not because the government hasn’t done enough to help me (why would that piss anyone off?), but because of all the stuff they assume the authority to do for me (or TO me) instead of just leaving me alone.

Re-booting a computer often helps too.
I’ve been switching back and forth from Fox News to CNN. As you say, they are not showing those who had reason to defeat the bill.
