'Fight the Smears' Website Admits Obama was Kenyan Citizen: Where's the MSM?

Following the controversy over the authenticity of Barack Obama's birth certificate can be a bit confusing with all its detailed analysis. Your humble correspondent will leave that up to the experts. However, in response to the charge that Barack Obama is not an American citizen, Obama's Fight the Smears website, quoting FactCheck.Org, has made a bombshell admission...Barack Obama was once a citizen of Kenya. You read that right, Obama had Kenyan citizenship until 1982. Here is the startling admission published in Fight the Smears (emphasis mine):

“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.

Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.”

What about his Indonesian citizenship? When he was adopted by the Indonesian, he became a citizen of Indonesia; that was never renounced, either. Did that one “lapse” too? It would be interesting to get into that detail.

In my opinion, duel citizenship does not disqualify him, especially since he has not been a Kenyan since 1982.
I think there are about a billion other reasons to vote against him. I don’t think the voters will be concerned about this...there are lots of duel citizenship people in this country due to their parents, birth, etc.

I think the point is that if we suddenly found out that Palin also had citizenship with another country the MSM would be screaming it from top top of their headlines across the country for days and demand an investigation and her removal from the ticket until the investigattion was complete.

Yes, there are a billion reasons (figuratively) to vote agains Obomber. However, our (US) constitution is very strict on citizenship, and his having been born in Keyna to a British father negates his qualification for presidency. Ergo, voting against or for him is a moot point.

Wrong because until now NO MENTION of Obama's dual citizenship (until 21) has ever been made in the MSM. The issue is that this has NOT been reported.

Until I see more proof, I will give Obama the benefit of the doubt that he was born in Hawaii. However, we now know for sure that he also held Kenyan citizenship until he was 21. This has NEVER been mentioned in the MSM. That is the issue here.

I believe that's absolutely true.

The New York Times has even reported on Governor Palin's hairdresser, for goodness sake. But this astonishing revelation on the part of Senator "Coke-head" Obama is treated with utter silence.
