I’ve said this before and it applies not just to Obambi but to most leftist leaders (Kerry, Gore, Clinton, Chavez, etc).

From what I’ve seen, Obama suffers only from delusions of adequacy.
Clinton (both, different disorders) and lately- Pelosi (*yikes) seem notable Obama is worrisome though- some of history's worst leaders have been men who resented and hated their fathers/mothers and inwardly, felt the need to atone for deep rooted insecurities that resulted. Obama sure drew two losing cards for parents...
I don’t think that the senator has a “disorder”.
Obama knows that the liberal base wants a savior and someone to obey without question. He’s just delivering what they want.
Of course, many politicians have high opinions of themselves and are narcissistic, but I don’t think this senator is really exceptional in this regard.
Obama - A legend in his own mind
Obama is *very* aware of what he is. There are people on this board who have met him in person, he's easily the most personable democratic politician. Even hardcore conservatives like him in person.
This is what makes him dangerous. Obama is *not* crazy and has complete control over himself(unlike Billy C).
Underestimate him at your own peril.
Not only does The One, The Obamesiah, Barak Obama have NPD, he has one of the most extreme cases I’ve ever seen. And I have (unfortunately) had to deal with several people with bonafide NPD diagnosises, usually as a result of helping female friends deal with the psychos after a break up. (For some reason, many nice and otherwise intelligent women seem irresistably drawn to NPD types.)

Like the classic narcissist, Obama loses his composure if he is scoffed at or laughed at. Pat Buchanan is adept at responding with laughter at a ridiculous point brought up by an opponent. If McCain can hammer away at Obama’s delusional sense of grandeur, the messiah will respond by looking somewhat less than Presidential.
If the pattern of a narcissist is compared to Obama’s past affiliations, one can conclude that he used Reverend Wright and his church for his political ambitions and did not care a whit about the teachings of the church. He stayed with Wright until he could derive no further benefit, then abandoned the Reverend. The same likely could be said for some of his other associations.
His radical view on abortion is a clear sign of his lack of empathy.
He lies with ease, which is another sure sign.
God willing, this man will never become President.

Don’t know about NPD, but someone who would say, “we are the ones we’ve been waiting for”, is odd.

Lay people who engage in psychiatric diagnosis of people they’ve never met and do not know are...narcissistic.
Obama has done what I thought at one time was impossible, outdone Bill Clinton when it comes to narcissism and ego-centricity.
