Hey, members of the Inner Party always get the best. The proletariat are the ones the rules are for.

Now it’s a $1000 tax incentive that we all get to pay (plus, oh, another $10k each I’m sure) to realize the longterm gains we as taxpayers will be certain to receive from the sale of the toxic loans by the federal government to the free market who will be begging to pay the feds a preimium on these loans as the revenue streams flow in like floodwaters from on time mortgage payers over the next 20 years. Duh, where have you been!!

LOLOLOL! I must have been mesmerized by the orations of Obama. ;-)

I'm guessing he could charm folks into begging to pay those premiums!

My friend is one of them. She is jubilant over the $1000 tax 'break'. I can't help but laugh when she says it, which only irritates her. But there's no point in my struggle to inject logic into that conversation. I told her that even if, even if!, it were a straight up tax relief of 1000, that is barely 83/month, or 21/wk, which barely covers the extra she needs to spend to keep gas in her SUV. The look on her face was priceless. (I didn't try to mention that her higher tax rates would negate any benefit..)

More importantly, no sacrifice will be required of those who got us into this mess in the first place, the government itself. It needs to tighten up spending, reduce taxes and make some self sacrifice (I.E. cut entitlement programs, cut wasteful spending across the board...). Of course they won't "sacrifice" all N0bama offers is empty platitudes.

Solid, good to see you spreading the truth about “tax cuts” from Darth Obama.

A friend of mine, who I really like, spoke with me this weekend about the election and I told her I’m for McCain and why. Among the many things we discussed were taxes and she was so lost on what the capital gains increase to 25%, which Obama has touted, would do to the average Joe. She thought it would only impact a small amount of certain types of investments and when I told her it will impact millions of folks who are retiring and are cashing in investments, or taking out money from mutual funds, IRA’s etc and were hoping for lower tax rates or the family who cashes in stocks they’ve been holding because times are getting tough or whatever the situation may be average joes are, through no fault of their own, losing 10% of their money to the federal government if Obama is Prez. She was like...oh...I didn’t realize it affected people in that way. I don’t think I swayed her, but it made a point most definitely.

Think about that for a minute. 10% of how many trillions of dollars of gains people have realized on good investments would be siphoned to the federal governement kitty to be spent wildly by any and all politicians just because they can.

That makes me sick.

Obama’s estimated and much talked about 3.5 billion dollars National Service Place on his agenda.

LOL, Darth Obama. It's sometimes like speaking to small children who don't understand, so entrenched are the DU crowd in the mantras of the party. Except that's a disservice to children. 'Tax cuts', don't forget to add 'for the wealthy', with a sneer. Funny how people always think the wealthy are someone else. His devotees don't even ask him to define who is wealthy in terms of his plan.

And it's funny, I can say first hand that when confronted with the taxes on those events, folks will blame anyone else except the DU crew who pushed those taxes. With his plan it will only get worse! Imagine people like my friend gleefully talking about her 1000 tax break (which isn't even 1000 cash in hand) while she is being royally fleeced on everything else. Sigh, there is no explaining it to some.

Think about that for a minute. 10% of how many trillions of dollars of gains people have realized on good investments would be siphoned to the federal governement kitty to be spent wildly by any and all politicians just because they can.

It's just sickening, isn't it? Just think about the pork they attached to the 'bailout' plan over the weekend, imagine what they can do with more time and calm. And they are drooling, giddy at the prospect that they will get to play with all that cash. That any politician, especially on the DU side, can stand there and tout this as good for the middle class, how they sleep at night is a wonder. Answer: They sleep very well, made rich and lazy by job security, decent pay, fine dining, etc.

It makes me sick, too.

Or worse. Watch this 16 minute video from 1985 and see if you don’t think we are heading in the wrong direction.

There is much truth to that. The Obama biographies were written to “substitute” for any real history of the man. How many former editors of Harvard Law Review cannot produce 1 fellow student to vouch for their accomplishments. Many Harvard Law Review editors go on to Clerk for Supreme Court Justices, take positions at high profile, politically connected firms or hold current seats on various State or Federal Circuit Courts.

Where are Obama’s boyhood friends, college roommates, former girl friends, etc. Make no mistake, they're out there but will never see the light of day. To do so would expose him for what he is, a leftist, communist sympathizer.
