PBS Debate Moderator Writes 'Breakthrough' Book About 'Upstanding' Obama, Black Democrats

It's nice to see a disinterested party moderating the debate of the vice-presidential candidates.

Yeah, she’s an “objective” journalist. Maybe they can get Howard Dean to do the next “debate”.

I don’t have internet at night, so am scrambling this morning to find info on who to fax/email/call to protest this.

Anyone got any names/numbers, I’d be appreciative.

How in hell do the same marxist shills keep popping up as “moderators” of these debates.

I repeat my question, with 300,000,000 people in America why is it that the same tired old retreads keep surfacing in Washington DC, hollywood, and the “entertainment industry.” to include television “news?”

This is clearly a conflict of interest as Miss Moderater stands to profit substantially if Obama is elected President. It’s just another example of the left playing dirty. Full discloser was never made and that in itself is a big problem. Finding this out in the 11th hour before the debate is appalling. Ifill needs to be replaced immediately if for no other reason than to at least give the appearance of fairness.

A so-called unbiased journalist would never put themselves in such a position of giving the appearance of possibly aiding and abeting one candidate over another when the end game will result in her getting millions of dollars if Obama gets elected (when her book comes out on inaugaration day).

Ifill has complete control over the topics and questions and don’t think there aren’t plenty of people that believe that Biden already has the questions - just because of the unfair appearance and this last minute revalation. Replace her now!

She needs to step down.

Concealing this obvious bias is beneath contempt.

Personally I think this is pointless and hollow issue to pursue. Ifill moderated the Cheney-Edwards debate and was perfectly fine. She has earned a rep for being moderate which is why the McCain camp approved her in the first place. All this crying to the refs is going to hurt us with only 34 days to go.

Speaking of a biased press, 2 weeks ago, the Palin rape kit story was debunked by leftish Salon, as well as elsewhere.

But THIS MORNING, the Boston Globe CUTS and PASTES for its LEAD editorial:

http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/editorial_opinion/editorials/articles/2008/10/01/wasilla_made_rape_victims_pay/

Why is it OUR JOB to look things up for the journalists? I’m computer-challenged and can’t even post an article without 3 tries.

If I were John McCain/Sarah Palin I would send a note just as the debate were to start telling them to forget it...if you cannot get actual “moderators” than all the debates are off. We’ll go on meeting people on a state-to-state basis.

There’s no way we’re ever going to get fairness, why feed the monster by doing what they want?

First On TVNewser: PBS’ Gwen Ifill has broken her ankle after tripping and falling down stairs at her home last night, a NewsHour insider tells TVNewser. We’re told Ifill had been walking up a staircase, carrying research related to her moderating duties at Thursday’s Vice Presidential debate in St. Louis, when she took a wrong step.

We are also told the show will go on: Ifill is planning to travel to Missouri for the big event.

Don’t replace her—just add someone from our side. Not BOR—he would try too hard to be easy on Biden to show how fair he was. Hugh Hewitt?

No—El Rushbo!

Just this fact alone should lead the Republican Party (read: the stupid party) to INSTANTLY PULL OUT OF THE DEBATE AND TO SCREAM BLOODY MURDER!!!!!!!

When are we going to have Roger Mudd, Hannity, Malkin, Coulter, or Limbaugh moderate a debate?

ARE THE REPUBLICANS STUPID???????????????? WHAT THE HELL’S THE MATTER WITH THEM???

If Gwen Ifill had the smallest smidgen of decency - she would step down. But, since she's a liberal PBS group-think junkie, we can safely assume that's not going to happen.
