I’ve been speaking with some folks in Adam Putnam’s district in Florida. They are extremely upset about his vote for the Wall Street Bailout and are planning a protest tomorrow in Bartow.

If you’d like to speak to the organizer of the protest, Chris McGuire, please send him an email at cmcguire99@gmail.com or call him at 813-245-3202.

Here is the location of Putnam’s district office: 650 East Davidson Street Bartow, Florida 33830 Phone: (863) 534-3530 Fax: (863) 534-3559

The protest is scheduled for early tomorrow morning. The disappointment about this bailout continues to spark grassroots opposition around the country.

Is anyone else planning similar protests around the country?

I've been in regular contact with my Congressman, Peter Roskam.

His staff assures me he still intends to vote No on this monstrosity.

I’ve been sending him letters. He was on a local radio show this afternoon doing his cheerleading. I guarantee you that he has not read this 452 page nonsense out of the Senate.

Peter voted NO twice, as did John Shimkus from Collinsville, and Tim Johnson from Champaign. Lame Duck Congressman Ray LaHood voted yes twice.

Judy Biggert switched her vote from no to yes and lame duck Jerry Weller who unbelievable missed the 1st vote should have done the same for the 2nd since he voted yes.

Well we have to make sure that Mrs. Biggert is returned to the private sector next election.
