“But I still wonder why McCain’s actions are so damnably tepid.”

I keep thinking that it’s because he knows that there are more of ‘them’ than there are of ‘us’, and he knows that he needs votes from both sides to win.

I heard about that attack, but was too cowardly to look at the context of it. It gets harder each time to stomach it.I am so fed up with all the viciousness of the left. McCain has got to answer this. To not answer it is capitulation.

Stop drinking the koolaid. The middle stands for nothing and gets run over. The lesson is obvious here for all to see. McLoser is a feckless middle of the road senile dope Liberal.

The better question is when will McCain stop taking a stand like the socialist Democrats on many issues?

“You’re the TOP of the ticket. And if you don’t start showing some BALLS, you’re going to LOSE!”

He needs to show as much chutzpah as his running mate, and start by making this a major point in the campaign for the next 30 days:

She (Sarah) then slammed Barack Obama calling him DISQUALIFIED to be President of the United States, “Some of his comments that he has made about the war that I think may in my world disqualifies someone from consideration as the next commander in chief.”

Hey everyone... ...give him the benefit of the doubt.

Just about all the experts had been saying that some sort of bailout was necessary and it appeared that McCain believed this.

He suspended his campaign and made an honest effort to get the House Republicans to help craft a plan that minimized the exposure and they did. It appears that he had a large number of them holding their noses ready to vote for it for the good of all Americans until Ms. Pelosi turned it back into a partisan issue.

Once it got defeated, the democrats showed their true colors by adding a lot of pork to the bill to ensure its passage.

Until it was passed, McCain could not turn it into a partisan issue since country does come first.

Now that the bill is law, it is behind us and the true reasons for its need in the first place can be brought to the forefront.

In the last debate, McCain (in his mind) needed to stay above the fray on economic issues to not taint the ability to achieve a bill. He will not be so constrained at the next debate.

I totally expect McCain to bring up all of Obama's buddies, Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac, ACORN, etc. but it needs to be done at the right time. It needs to be done when the media can't filter the comments and when the media doesn't have enough time to brainwash the public into thinking they didn't hear it at all.

Now is the time for him to start pounding and pounding and pounding. The next debate should be a lot more interesting than the first one.

The problem is it is getting very close to the election, and McCain still has not hit hard at Obama.

He can’t wait until the last minute because of absentee voting.

He needs to hit hard now!!!

Please believe me. I’m still hanging by a thread out here, hoping and praying that McCain will prove me wrong.

But even as I type this, H & C is on FOX, and The Sarah Palin inteview with Carl Cameron is playing; and I’m thinking to myself; “Dear Lord, there’s that wonderful lady out there carrying all the water while her BOSS seems to be missing in action.......or something.

In spite of it all, I besought the Throne of Grace for Sarah prior to the debate and you may rest assured that I will be doing the same for John.

Is McPain a eunuch?

Why must a woman, Sarah carry the water for him?

Personally speaking McPain must get over himself and this overly self righteous “honor” stuff.

When you are fighting in the jungle, you MUST take on guerrilla tactics too or you will be killed. The same applies to McPain. He's trying to be a “gentleman” in guerrilla warfare - it doesn't work. Bush already proved that.

>>”...Look for McCain to get very aggressive when it counts most.”<<

LOL. Why is he seeking advice from Al Gore and super Dem Warren Buffet? Must be some strategy we aren’t privy to, huh? If McLame doesn’t get mean this week he’s toast and so is America!

“I hope so, I am counting on it. If not, it is time to let Sarah bail.”

You mean you think Sarah should drop out? No. Absolutely not.

The bailout being done and the VP debate having concluded where Palin kicked Biden’s a** there is now nothing left but hard-nosed campaigning. It’s on.

I predict that Obama will put on a Saddleback worthy performance at the next debate. He was up for the first one. Palin will be in his head again and his rhythm will be off.

>>”Look for McCain to get very aggressive in the coming days. If I’m wrong I’ll eat crow.”<<

Better find a good recipe real soon. “Conservatives” don’t give up, like the McLame has done in Michigan. And if I hear call himself a Conservative one more time I’m going to throw up parts of my liver.

McLame is a weak washed out LIBERAL RINO and if you’re a minimum of 10% Conservative you’d be lying if you said he was.

" WE WANT ACTION!"

I'm sick of waiting for it, too. Exactly what can McCain do in the last 72 hours before Nov. 4 that will make any difference by then?

John McCain is not even trying to win this electiion. I've sent email to his campaign addy and also to his Missouri addy - guess what I got.:

: permission denied. Command output: Mail quota exceeded.

Well, isn't that just lovely. This is what I sent:

"This is a FIGHT to win the Presidency; it is not a time for "bipartisan" niceties. McCain needs to stop the "bipartisan, reaching across the aisle" stuff - does he not know the difference between a Senate disagreement and an election?? With Governor Palin, his campaign got a terrific boost and gained support of us conservatives who did not support him before. We no longer had to just vote against the Marxist Obama, we could now vote FOR our Republican ticket. But McCain has to stop trying to lose this fight!!

Obama is the enemy of his campaign and the enemy of Americans who love our freedom. He is not McCain's "friend". He is a foe. Has McCain forgotten what that means? We are starting to think so and about to lose hope. An election is a battle, not a contest for "getting along". We don't see McCain pointing out the dangers of an Obama Presidency to our way of life. We don't see him here in Missouri speaking out against the Obama Truth Squad's attempts to intimidate voters here and threatening us with law enforcement if we exercise our right to free speech. We don't see him anywhere exposing Obama's youth squads that bring to mind the Hitler Youth, or anything else that is rampant and well known on the internet.

You have not laid the fault of the financial meltdown where you know it belongs. Why? You have not laid out the danger to our first amendment rights and second amendment rights that Obama is. Why? You have not pointed out the lies and viciousness of the Obama campaign. Why? I have received 5 slick mailed attacks on you filled with lies from the Democrats in Missouri in the last nine days and absolutely nothing from Republicans to combat this. Why? More and more, those of us who are trying to support you are asking ourselves WHY?

Get with it, McCain. We are trying to support you because the alternative scares us to death, while you are excusing and being "friends" with the alternative. You used to know what war was about.... we are in one for the very survival of our country, and we all seem to know it except for you. You are all we have .. get out there and FIGHT!!" -------------------------------------

I've posted before how I can't even get an answer on the phone locally about the lying, vicious attack mailouts from the Dem party I was concerned about (which now total 5 in 10 days) and was wondering why the Rep party hasn't sent anything out. I am absolutely sick. I worked for Republican headquarters for 9 months in 1964, for Goldwater IN TEXAS where we didn't have a hope, and we worked our hearts out anyway. Missouri is NOT a safe Rep. state - we obviously have voter intimidation, Democrat mail blitzes, and nobody working. I did go and volunteer; they had nothing to do, so I said to call me if any old ladies such as myself in my precinct needed a ride to vote in Nov. and I will pick them up, since this year I can still see to drive. They're only interested in state candidates there. And except for Roy Blunt, the state candidates suck. Unless he voted for the new bailout, which I haven't bothered to find out since we're screwed anyway; then he's not excepted.

I didn't want McCain. He was about number 6 on my list a few months ago. I hate being right. Country first my a$$. With him it's "friends first" And they're ALL his friends.
