I’m more worried about Elizabeth Dole’s senate seat. Charlotte is the 2nd largest finance center in the US after New York and is being hit hard by this financial crisis.
But if it keeps you from jumping out a window, have at it.
Me too. We need to keep Elizabeth Doles senate seat. I’m going to donate 300$ today.
Yes, god forbid someone point out that polls we use today were wrong in 2004 at this point in time.
Sorry..let me go into my robotic mantra:
MUST KEEP IT NEGATIVE..MUST BE DOOM A GLOOM 24/7 or else it would be FR. Correct?
Oops, meant “WOULDN’T BE FR”
Quite interesting. I don’t remember NC being so close last time. Ended up not being close at all. Kerry thought he had a shot there, and in WV, AR, MO and maybe a few others he ended up losing by substantial margins. This also shows us polls are often inaccurate, and things can change a lot by election day. So if 0bama is doing well in NC now we be optimistic it will not end up in his column 29 days from now.
ain't no way Barrie wins with all us racists down here in ol' NC
Charlotte will not be losing jobs. Citibank or Wells will likely relocate many of their highest paid employees to Charlotte.
Many will choose to move to get a higher standard of living. Honestly, who wouldn’t want to move from NJ to NC?
Charlotte will experience a net gain in jobs in either acquisition.

“Charlotte will experience a net gain in jobs in either acquisition.”
Just what they need more democrats. Hire conservative southerners to replace the NJ crowd.
And this was with John Edwards on the ticket. That was supposed to help Kerry, right? It will probably be closer this cycle in NC but nothing like the MSM is trying to portray. Thanks for the reminder.
The silly doom and gloomers here should go volunteer at McCain HQ or contribute money. We won 2004 because a lot of volunteers.
One idiot here posts Salon pure propaganda.
