Obama keeps claiming he was only 8 years old when Ayers was bombing buildings. So he must have been 8 when he first met Ayers and 8 when he sat in his living room plotting a radical run for President. Oh, and he must be 8 when he got a job from Ayers.
Poihnt is, Obama thinks he can deflect his Ayers relationship by saying he was only 8 years old.

Probably not. The point, though, is that way back in the beginning of his campaign (not sure whether in early 2008 or in the prior year), he was asked about his relationship with Ayers. His reply was, IIRC, that Ayers was just some guy in his neighborhood with whom he crossed paths.
Now, with all the information that has come in about their joint roles in the Annenberg Challenge, and Obama’s having started his first campaign in Ayers’ house, Obama has been caught in a lie.
Considering how Obama also tried to re-characterize his twenty-year relationship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright, it seems that his capacity for, and tendencies towards, dissembling are immense. It also suggests (IMHO) that he is accustomed to playing his audiences for fools, and when caught in the act, replies with righteous indignation (while avoiding answering the question).
What will he say when his friendship with Rezko becomes an issue (not to mention the favorable terms on which Rezko sold the Obamas their current house in Kenwood)? What if (and I doubt this will happen) during one of the remaining debates with McCain, he is asked why he has not produced a birth certificate proving his US citizenship at birth? And what will he say about his receipt of substantial contributions from the employees of (and PACs related to) Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac?
His truthfulness-quotient (what there is of it), when combined with the fact that so little is really known about him, given his relatively short career in public life, gives rise to anxiety (not to mention doubt) about who Obama really is.
