BOSTON (AP) - Rep. Barney Frank said Monday that Republican criticism of Democrats over the nation's housing crisis is a veiled attack on the poor that's racially motivated.
The Massachusetts Democrat, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, said the GOP is appealing to its base by blaming the country's mortgage foreclosure problem on efforts to expand affordable housing through the Community Reinvestment Act.

To the extent that the CRA, along with DhimmiRat demands that lenders loosen mortgage underwriting guidelines, created this problem, YES, I’m in agreement with the GOP assessment.
Had banks been left alone, using the credit worthiness guidelines they’d had in place for many years, this would not have happened.
The LibTards have their fingerprints all over this debacle, and they are scrambling like roaches when the light comes on to avoid taking responsibility for their shenanigans.
