look, i really am going to bed now (i just resisted the urge to jump on the coke/gay sex obama thread, which sounds like 2000 to me, xcept the other side this time) BUT, i do want to say that I did not have a problem with what I posted, and I understand who owns the site. Hey, it ain't the first thread I've had pulled and God willing it won't be the last. I never hold that stuff against FR.
but I do tire of the willingness of some around here to jump reactively on a subject or a poster with unfounded and personal insults just because they had the temerity to challenge one's preconceived notions of virtue, conservatisim, patriotism et.al.
truth be told, I posted it because of the Ayers story being so prominent today, and because I had to ask myself, given what he did, at what point would me or the average freeper do the same. nothing more.
