This morning, Philadelphia attorney Philip Berg filed a response in opposition to the motion for protective order, a measure intended to stay discovery until after the judge rules on a defense motion to dismiss, filed by Barack Obama and the DNC on Monday.

In the response Berg insists, among other things, that he is not seeking the documents specified in his motion for expedited discovery for any improper purpose, that the information requested through discovery is of extreme importance and a matter of public safety, and argues that Barack Obama and the DNC

Just imagine if it were a Republican trying to keep his birth certificate a secret.

Remember how Big Media went after George Bush over his drinking and alleged cocaine use?

Well, now we have an admitted pot and cocaine user and Obamahhh gets a total pass.

I am beginning to think that he is a citizen, because if he was not, Hillary would have been all over it to get the nomination.

My guess is that the certificate is extremely embarrassing in some way.

I was thinking...shouldn’t there be a requirement that a presidential candidate produce either a valid birth certificate or prove (if born outside the US) that his mother was over the required age to be considered eligible?

What documents are being sought? Is it just the birth certificate?

Does this also bring into question his qualification to be a US Senator? If he is not a US citizen I would not expect him to be qualified. If he were a naturalized citizen I am not sure. Does anyone know the law in this area?

I think McCain could bring this up in the debate.

He could say that Obama is needlessly tying up the court system and the judges time by introducing all these motions instead of just producing the documentation that “I know” he has.

If stonewalling and tying up the court system is the way he would run the Presidency he has no business being President.

Senators don’t have to be natural born citizens.

I am confused. Is Begr trying to do one or the other or both:

1. Obama was really born in Kenya to American woman. Is he a citizen.

or

2. Obama left America for Indonesia, became an Indo citizen losing his US citizenship. Never filed the paperwork to become a citizen again. The mother would also have lost her US citizenship if she became a Indo citizen???

Is Berg trying to go down both paths or one or the other?

What We Do Know:
The birth certificate copy Obama provided that they supposedly got from Hawaii is a crude fake. Berg wants a full vault copy. Obama is hiding the fact he:
a. Was not born in the USA.
b. He is an Indonesian citizen and an illegal alien.

I hope Berg can win this. He has a lot of guts.

Or Obama’s original opponent in his US Senate race, Jack Ryan. Ryan was forced to release embarassing details tha twere sealed in his divorce proceedings. After the info was released, he dropped out and Alan Keyes had to be recruited to take his place on the Republican ticket to face Barry. Two sets of rules, one for the Messiah and the other for the uncleansed masses.

There has to be something to this. I'm not sure what, but something. Otherwise it would have been thrown out before ever getting to this stage. Also, why on Earth would the Obama campaign be spending time and money on a court case they could make go away by simply producing a legitimate document. And, if someone would lie about their eligibility to run for President, how can they possibly be trusted with national secrets?

Just think how aggressively the media went after the Watergate break-in, and compare that to the myriad of stories about Obama they haven't pursued. Unbelievable.

Unless I'm mistaken, the judge already ordered Obama to turn over the birth certificate, and Obama is fighting that order. A third party has also asked to join Berg and has asked that, because Obama is obviously trying to stall it until after the election, the judge directly order all relevant government agencies to not only turn over all documentation, but investigate the issue. No ruling yet that I'm aware of regarding this last request.

When considering the importance of this issue to the American people, you’d think someone in the government would step in and handle this.

It may have had something to do with the age of his mother being too young, IIRC...
