Looking for a digital copy (PDF, any reader format) of the Ayers book "Fugitive Days". we are attempting stylometric analysis of obama memoirs. need ayers' book. have ordered copy online, but won't be delivered soon, and we must scan it all. and then proofread for OCR issues. if anyone has access to a copy that we could get immediately, or even better, if you can digitize--well, we'll work on it immediately. we've already got both of obama's books loaded, and we're working on some "control" books of similar memoirs.
Are both available in digital audio, I know Obama’s is. Can the type of analysis you are trying to do be done with the audio?

Good luck breaking the Obama Code. The media won’t report any findings.
They are acting “shocked” that Obama had this in his past. The media has known about the Obama-Ayers connection. That they can’t already discredit the claims speaks volume.
While one FReeper reported that within a newsroom a journalist said that NO resources were being used to investigate Obama’s background (at the time that Ms. Palin was getting 30 reporters assigned to Alaska to dig up dirt), I find it hard to believe that NONE of them looked into on their own.
Opposition research is necessary sometimes.
I read a number of works by sixties radicals (including Jerry Rubin, Paul Krassner, Timothy Leary, Hunter S. Thompson...). I wasn’t “swayed” by their passions, I did note how open they were about their crimes and their support of Socialism.
The Left calls us “fascists” but I don’t see anything in the US Republican party that in any way resembles the definition.

This sounds more like Obama-Biden’s America, with more regulation of the economy, a fairness doctrine, police harassment of those airing political ads on tv, “patriotrism” in paying taxes, and a revisionist take on the historical foundation of this country.
While there are plenty of political groups around the world alligned with the Left in America, Constitutional conservatives have no foreign supporters, there are none of these Constitutional guarantees around the rest of the world. Gun grabbers rejoice.
And when it comes to social conservativism, again, there is little support for the American opposition to abortion and the norming of homosexuality and other issues in the culture war. There IS some religious support for it but with European religious observance falling off, it is a minority opinion of a shrinking minority.
You are wasting your time. Even if you came up with something it would prove nothing.
Obama isn’t Darth Vader. He is just a white kid playing a black kid. He isn’t a terrorist; terrorists take risks. Obama is a pretend radical who was adopted by the Chicago Democrat establishment as their next shot at power after Hal Washington died unexpectedly. He is the heir to the Adalai Stevenson, Paul Simon torch passed to him via Abner Mikva and Newton Minow. He has modeled his career after Hal Washington’s. State senator from the south side, a run for congress (Hal won his, Obama didn’t) and ivy league law school. Everybody thought Hal could be the first black president. Jesse Jackson ran on his coattails. Mosley-Braun did too, as did Dinkins.
Obama is an empty suit, not a criminal mastermind.

I’m of the opinion that since Obama and Ayers lived in close proximity when he went to NYC to attend Columbia in 1981 and that Obama and Ayers have been closely aligned since that time. It would explain Obama leaving NYC to become a Community Organizer/Agitator and being selected for the Annenberg Project since he had NO experience at all. He could have been hand picked by Ayers to lead the program because he and Ayers went back to 1981 or there’bouts.

Without making too much of it, this is obviously typical college crap poetry, evidencing NO talent for writing whatsoever. Whoever wrote Dreams of My Father, or at least the literary sections, it wasn’t Barack “Barry” Obama-Soetoro.
