Palin: Obama put 'ambition above country'
CNN ^

JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri (CNN) -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Friday said Sen. Barack Obama put "ambition above country" after a newspaper reported that Obama may have tried to influence Iraqi politicians negotiating with the United States.

The Washington Times, a conservative newspaper, reported Friday that Obama told Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in June that an agreement between the United States and the leaders to allow U.S. troops to stay in the country after 2008 should not go into effect unless it had congressional approval.

The conversation occurred two weeks after Obama secured the Democratic nomination for president, the newspaper reported.

...but he’s a good and honorable man, and there’s nothing to fear from his presidency.

Obama doesn't have a country. He is a communist, he has a Cause. He wants his Cause to take over what passes for his country. But only to rule it in the service of his Cause. He doesn't have a country and wouldn't know what one was, if he did.

Campaigning 101

1. Pick a message
2. Stick with it
3. Rinse
4. Repeat until elected

What’s complicated about that, again?

It is great until the crowds get out of hand and drown out your message.

McCain had to do this because of the threats that were being made at some rally’s. People need to keep quite over killing or hurting someone and call him out for what he is. The MSM will play anything up in Obam’s behalf you know. But he is a long way from being honorable and I for one darn sure would never respect Obama nor show him any after the way the DemocraTs came after Bush. I would as soon have Hugo Chavez over our government as Obama and the Democrats, matter of fact he may be if Obama is elected.

There are people here on FR who hate McCain and will never let an opportunity pass without expressing it.

Also, there are people who have never run a campaign and will always let you know how to run a better one.

Did anyone hear Obama speak in Philadelphia today? He thanked McCain for turning down the rhetoric and then proceeded to attack him.

And when he was talking about McCain someone in the crowd yelled “shoot’em.”

Did anyone catch that? Will the media report that?

Yeah - and when polls were good after the convention, they were mostly silent or even cheering, but now using any excuse as a justification to jump ship.

As for McCain’s comments, he had to make them. It is unfortunate that the hotheads in these crowds may have been instrumental in putting the campaign off message. The message to the public should be coming from the candidate, not the screeching from the crowd.

MCcain will be back soon in MSM as their favorite Republican bashing Republicans after loosing the presidential election.
He is more comfortable in that role than being a standard bearer of the party.

I am going to pull out all the stops this election. I just went to http://www.johnmccain.com and did 20 phone calls. It's very easy “even a cave man can do it” My calls were all in Vegas. I got hung up on twice, one vote for Obama and most the rest were extremely vocal about support for McCain. One union guy told me ALL the union guys are voting for voting for McPalin and there was no way in HELL Vegas would go for Obama!

Amen, Sister! Now, if we could only convince the liberal media that this is a scandal, and getting an erratic and dangerous State Trooper fired isn’t.

No,the MSM will not hear that. It would not bother me if some group in America went to destroying MSM outlets. They are nothing but Democrat propaganda machines.

"...but he’s a good and honorable man, and there’s nothing to fear from his presidency."

I can't get that statement out of my head! Since this piece is about Palin, I really wonder what her reaction to that gaffe was. Obama & Co. are energized by Satan, I hope God brings them low like he has other wicked people for the umpteenth time in history (before he utterly condemns them at the Judgement).
