We also know that the NRA is going to open up their wallet, and whatever other 527 groups are out there as well. $160M for a 3-week blitz (plus whatever other pro-McCain spending is done) is basically a political carpet bombing.
They’re going to empty the piggy bank (so to speak) by the time this is through. This can still be won if they run effective, hard-hitting ads in the right places.
Dang it...that’s A LOT of money for the next three weeks.

I think Obama has turned down the offshore $25 credit card donations from the middle east because they are under scrutiny. The Saudis/Hamas will have to find another way.
Obama has a LOT of overhead. Paid employees and fewer volunteers. He is spending money like water. They could run out of money in the last week.
He will lose and be stuck with a big bill. Then Bill and Hillary will shove their knives in his back. You watch. Bill Clinton is a buffoon at times but he is no fool. The Clintons want MEGA payback.
We saw this in 2004 with paid MoveOn.org thugs who were ineffective while GOP GOTV kicked in. Keery ran out of money and the MoveOn.org thugs fled Florida. It was sweet!
Donate and volunteer at local McCain HQ. Get out the vote and help.

I was getting the impression that McCain and the RNC were sitting on their money and I have the suspicion that some 527s are sitting on their money, too. I think we are in for a wild ride for the last few weeks of this.

Folks - we beat on McCain but he is a warrior and knows about military strategy and battles.
I don’t know about a block but with 160 Million you can see McCain ad’s on EVERY network show if he wanted. 160 Milliion is a LOT of money to spend in 3 weeks. You have to look for places to spend that much.
McCain is a Naval Academy grad and his father and grandfather were admirals.
I think we are about to witness a naval ambush. Barry is about to blunder into a turkey shoot from the NRA and a shelling by the USS McCain-Palin’s 16-inch naval guns.

Re: donating to McCain/Palin - Any money donated now goes to Victory 2008, which consists of the RNC, several battleground state Republican parties, and the McCain/Palin compliance fund. The breakdown of money is listed on McCain’s site.
Re: volunteering locally - if you can afford to help outside of your state, sign up for the “legal team” on McCain’s site. They’re enlisting help for election day. List any special skills you have that might help. (tech-savy, mgmt experience, teaching experience etc.) They’ll contact you about where they need you
With the NRA that’s 200 Million MINIMUM, not counting any other 527’s and youtube is free.
Expect the hysterics from the left to reach a frenzied pitch leading up to this election.
