160 Million is a LOT of wood.
160 Million is a ton of money for a YEAR, any product or service that spends 160 Million a year is a major advertiser.
This is an all out blitz. 160 Million in 3 weeks will cancel out the MSM.

That doesn’t even count the 527’s, the NRA, etc. We could spend up to 200 Million from now until the election, it will have a major impact, people will have plenty of doubt about Obama by the time they step into the voting booth.

I’ll bet Hussein is way behind on his fund raising. No doubt his campaign is misspending their money and will have little left to counterattack the RNC/McCain onslaugh. I suspect the McCain campaign expected they would be a point or 2 behind (as they may be now) at the end but knew they could make it up with their closing argument and go ahead.

Hell Yeah!!!!!!
I knew something up when I looked at politicos numbers for campaign spending and Obama was ahead by 2 to 1 or more in many swing states.
I had a feeling McCain was being disciplined and holding his money back until it mattered in the last few weeks of the election given that Obama’s money advantage pretty much got negated by adding Palin to the ticket.
160 million dollars to create a giant laser beam aimed squarely at the heart of the Obama campaign.

I wonder if any of that money will be used to put McCain on prime time national television for a half hour ad.

There are several “oh shits” being said in Obie’s camp right now because they do not have this type of money. Now begins the schooling to the false prophet.

Looks like McCain's been keeping his gun powder dry until it really counts.
The question is will he take shots at his real targets or shoot himself in the foot?

Dang it...that’s A LOT of money for the next three weeks.

Let us not forget, Karl Rove was given the keys to $200 million PAC money to target Obama and the dems too. That money has not been spent yet either. A good ole woodshed beat down is about to occur.

I was getting the impression that McCain and the RNC were sitting on their money and I have the suspicion that some 527s are sitting on their money, too. I think we are in for a wild ride for the last few weeks of this.

Thank you Lord! Finally. Get ‘em McCain.
Re: donating to McCain/Palin - Any money donated now goes to Victory 2008, which consists of the RNC, several battleground state Republican parties, and the McCain/Palin compliance fund. The breakdown of money is listed on McCain’s site.
Re: volunteering locally - if you can afford to help outside of your state, sign up for the “legal team” on McCain’s site. They’re enlisting help for election day. List any special skills you have that might help. (tech-savy, mgmt experience, teaching experience etc.) They’ll contact you about where they need you

I was saying earlier in response to reports of McCain being outspent 3 to 1... McCain is keeping his powder dry until he can see the whites of their eyes...
It is nervous time of course, but as a I recall, Bob Dole did just the opposite.. spent all his money too quickly and was broke in the final weeks.

The calvary has arrived and will expose Black Liberation Theology.
* 31 years of a failed Democratic Party policy, encouraging and pressuring banks to issue more and more risky loans, is what caused this economic crisis
* At the forefront in the early 90s was Obama. He sued Citibank, and he trained and funded ACORN, when they were intimidating banks to issue more of these risky loans
* It snowballed from there when Obamas economic advisors, former CEOs of Fannie Mae, implemented this failed policy at Fannie Mae. (Note Fanny and Freddie buy over 85% of the mortgages originated in this country)
* Even when warned about an impending crisis, Democrats still blocked reform in 2003 and 2005 that would have prevented it
* So far this failed Democratic Party policy of 31 years has cost taxpayers over one trillion dollars, and Obama's 'agenda'... will make taxpayers pay even more
