What that story and many other pro-Obama articles gloss over is that during the violent protests of the 1968 Democratic National Convention here, Katz was the security chief for the radical Students for a Democratic Society. She once advocated throwing studded nails in front of police cars, back in the SDS days when the group was alleged to have thrown cellophane bags full of human excrement at cops and cans of urine and golf balls impaled with nails.

With the current Daley, 'Reigns in Radicals' may be more appropriate.
Great, so not only was Obama an employee/friend of domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, he has another terrorist, Marilyn Katz, as a fundraiser.
To someone who looks at this from outside, like Palin, this looks like what is, but inside-the-beltway types don’t see anything wrong with this picture. Obviously a lot of people have spent too much time inside the machine.

If Fitzgerald indicts Giannoulias it will be a big deal for Obama.
Giannoulias has worked actively in Obama’s campaign and spoke at the Democratic convention.
It has long been alleged here in Chicago that Giannoulias’ bank was funded by the biggest bookmaker here in Chicago. If this comes to light in an indictment, the whole sordid pattern of Obama’s work in the State legislature will come under heightened scrutiny.
The biggest scandal about Obama IS NOT his dodgy dealings with Rezko and others. It his multi-year pattern of steering public money to politically connected but incompetent and/or corrupt developers.
The Chicago landscape is littered with abandoned projects that were built using public funds. Obama wants to scale-up these “public-private” partnerships on a national scale.
