Did anyone catch the flags in the press conference Obama held today?

You know when the president has a press conference with another nation and they alternate the flags: U.S., other country, U.S., other country, etc., all in a row behind the leaders of the countries speaking at the podium?

I watched the news just now and the flags Obama had behind his podium were strange. There were some American flags, but alternated with them was another kind of flag. It looked like an American flag but it had a big circle in the field of blue, and it looked suspiciously like his symbol (which I always thought looked like the Pepsi symbol). You know, the one he formerly had on his seal?

Did anyone else catch it?

The State of Ohio’s flag.

There have been at least 3 other posts on this non-issue.

I hope they didn't have the pointed ends on the poles. Someone could get hurt.

Ohio’s state flag was adopted in 1902. The Ohio burgee, as the swallowtail design is properly called, was designed by John Eisemann. The large blue triangle represents Ohio’s hills and valleys, and the stripes represent roads and waterways. The 13 stars grouped about the circle represent the original states of the union; the 4 stars added to the peak of the triangle symbolize that Ohio was the 17th state admitted to the union. The white circle with its red center not only represents the “O” in Ohio, but also suggests Ohio’s famous nickname, “The Buckeye State”.

I would be pleases if stopped associating Pepsi with the fore mentioned person. It is one of my last vices and can't have it tainted. The only good answer is state flags it would. The Kenya flag looks nothing like what you described.

Could Obama have is known flag, Yes! possible.

Unfortunately, the state of Ohio doesn’t have a flag. It has a pennant.
