PS: fine folks down there in Missouri... I've got kin down in Olathe KS, and spent a good bit of time on the Missouri side... Mud and fires and big pickup trucks and beer, and a lot of long, long nights down on the river there.

Coon huntin', Crawdads and catfish, and ice tea in a mason jar... Thats a fine life down on the muddy water.

PROPS to y'all from up here in the Rockies! We bend our hats a little different, but the folks are about the same.

He definitely limped out the blocks, but I think that was just rope-a-dope. McCain crafted the debates into a four act play with the final episode turning rather tragic for Barry. Killing Hamlet in the first act would have been a political risk for Cmdr. McCain. Barry would have possibly learned to much if he had been knocked off his stride a bit in the first round. Plus, the most effective KO must be in the last.

Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill, everytime. . . almost.

Nothing has happened to FR. Most of us understand that THE FUTURE OF THE COUNTRY IS AT STAKE!!!! It is because we love the first amendment and the rest of our freedoms that we believe Obama MUST be stopped and the Dems must not be allowed to steal this election. The Democrats would like nothing better than to outlaw FR, conservative talk radio, and/or bring back the fairness doctrine. With increased majorities in Congress and a Democrat in the WH, this is not beyond the realm of possibility. If you want to vote for a conservative, vote for Sarahcuda!!!

“McCain has ditched conservatism. Without it, he is not going to win the election. If its a choice between a true liberal and a pretend one, which McCain is trying to be, the true liberal will win. If McCain hasn’t figured out by now that conservatism wins elections, he’s stupider than I thought. “

And that is why Palin is on the ticket and not Lieberman.

Dear PUMA folks...THANK YOU!.... but not all of us have given up!

There are many of us who go through every election and try to keep the sounds out of our minds from those who think their complaining is helpful and constructive.

We work, give money, make phone calls, email and fax and talk to the opposite side, hand out literature and go to rallies when possible.

....we work...and I might add....with joy.

At one point we were called “The Silent Majority”.

And most important of all, we pray...get on our knees and beseech our Father, God to have mercy on our nation.

We appreciate your support and have enjoyed reading some of your sites. While admittedly, we disagree on some vital issues, the love of Country, freedom and free enterprise is overwhelmingly important.

Your forums are encouraging and upbeat. Thank you for your love of America!

We look forward to reaping the benefits with you when we win this election on Nov 4th.

God bless America!
McCain/Palin 2008!!!

I agree with you 100% Take away the media hype just what are the reasons for voting for the new Marxist regime

It irks me how often I hear people say that they live in the GREATEST COUNTRY on EARTH, yet believe state without hesitation that it filled with dumshi**’s

Frankly, the whole election cycle is a 18 month media frenzy. When has the media changed this country?

When will it? Not this time for sure. Because this is what sets this country apart. No one wants to give up anything that they already have. FREEDOM!!!!!!!

I hear that Republican McCainiacs are going door-to-door already — a week or two ahead of 2004’s schedule.

We’ve also gotten two calls from volunteers.

“USA can’t and must not be hi-jacked and give up it’s freedom...It’s a question/struggle for life, for the future.”

Well, we’re about to find out just how serious are those who say they will fight to save America from the horrendous future Obama has planned for it. It’s near time to wlak the walk.

I suppose they know from first hand experience what they are up against and what needs to be done.

Stop It!

The writer is correct!
Email all your contacts, call, talk to your neighbors

VOTE! - Ignore the polls

Turn out is the key to victory

The poll numbers are designed to suppress the conservative vote.

Vote like your Liberty depends on it, because it does!

the problem is not most people on this forum, but is the “i’m taking my toys and going home” crowd that “taught us a lesson” in ‘06 by staying home. And we got pelosi and damn near a depression out of it....these people need to get off of their collective asses, and carry out their civil duty and vote...period

A good pep talk, but I think the PUMA strategy of lying to pollsters to give the Obama camp a "false sense of security" is not that impressive.

The PUMAs are certainly welcome.

Like you, I am a bit concerned about any intentional inflation of the Obama numbers. To whatever extent that happens, it causes the Republican Party to unnecessarily move resources, and if it were a significant occurrence, then it would be causing significant misallocation of our time and money.

For instance, let's take the hypothetical situation where you have two states, A and B. A is traditionally a safe Republican vote, and B is a swing state. If lying to pollsters is falsely showing that A is in play and that B is leaning away, then you can bet that the Republicans will divert resources from B to A, which in reality would be a waste of resources.

Polling isn't a scientific endeavor since it fails in all empirical measures, but it's the methodology that campaigns use. As I said yesterday, a speedometer that is off by 5 miles an hour is still more useful than no speedometer.

What she doesn’t understand is that principled conservatives only care about purist conservative govertnment. Any thing short is unworthy and therefore Obama is really not a problem.

It must be all or nothing.
