I agree. Paid for ads with Sarah would be great.
McCuda Bump
Same with Ohio, and other key states.
McCain Campaign, LET LOOSE THE LIONS!
Ramming SPEED!
They need ads explaining her Alaska record with details. Why was she considered a reformer in Alaska, what did she do to bring down the “old boys” network, and how did she deal with oil companies? People don’t know those details because the press isn’t reporting them. The McCain campain needs ads explaining them.
I agree. There isn’t much time left to let the nation see Sarah Palin. Do it now.
Absolutely! Put Sarah on FNC and one of the DBM networks (e.g.,CNN) an hour immediately after obama has his half-hour infomercial. It could give us an extra 4 points.
While I agree in principle isn’t it sad that our presidential candidate is so weak that we have to run our VP candidate in order to win.
I wonder whether McCain isn’t a bit too egotistical about his own appeal and charisma to allow Governor Palin to don her Presidential black suit and do what you all suggest. - It would be a good idea, as would anything positive right now.
I looked in the mirror this morning, and I realized that I was long past competing for Miss America. If I had someone I could sponsor who WAS suited to compete for MA, I’d sponsor her instead.
I said on another thead that IF McCain could come up with the money to match Obama’s buy of a half-hour prime time network show, then he ought to split the time 50-50 with Sarah Palin.
It would look weak if he gave her the whole half hour. But the two of them put on a terrific combined performance at the Convention, and they could do it again.
McCain needs money, because Obama is outspending him by a huge margin, what with his Communist billionaire pals and all the laundering of Arab and other foreign money.
If McCain can’t do it, maybe someone else can come up with the money. No, probably not Freepers, who don’t have that kind of dough, but some patriot with a few extra dollars.
Whoops...not enough coffee yet.
I think ads letting her make a personal appeal to voters on issues without the campaign jargon and Fargo speak would work. Talk about abortion and being pro-life. Talk about local issues and communities, talk about gun rights, talk about stopping government expansion, talk about small business, talk about real energy issues.
Ask people to believe in McCain and what his administration will be about.
And, they could also use some other famous figures as well as the unknown average working person/small business type to talk about why they are supporting McCain.
Sarah would be fine if they have other people doing it as well.
its the best ammo Mccain has left, and he better use it.GO SARAH!

“As far as Obama’s money lead, it’s significant. But Rove neglected to mention that McCain/Palin & the RNC have $160 million set aside for ads in battleground states these last 2-3 weeks.”
Rush Limbaugh has said several times recently that we need to help drag McCain/Palin across the winning finish line.
Perhaps Rush would kick in the $900k needed for a half-hour Palin Fireside Chat from her Governor’s office in Alaska (there might even be some snow visible outside the window).
That wouldn’t be a bad idea. If Rush is the host, then he can invite anyone he wants to his show. But I’m not sure if the network offer to the McCain campaign of equal time at equal price to the McCain campaign would apply to a third party.
Still, maybe something can be worked out. We just need a patriotic sugar daddy to pitch in. No ideas here, I’m afraid—most of my rich friends have turned into stupid liberals, and I wouldn’t want to give them any ideas!
Bambi has outspent McCain 30-1 in media buys, has the whole DBM in the tank for him, is the darling of the rest of the entertainment industry, is loved by the world, is articulate, young, attractive and still can't close the deal. The election is up for grabs, but McCain has to win it we can't do it for him nor can any of his surrogates. 300M people, the country faced with a major financial/economic crisis, two shooting wars and an undeclared international war on terror and these two are the best we can do, pathetic and terrifying.
Not true. Ask an everyday person what they feel about the election issues and why they are voting for McCain. What about Joe the Plumber? Let him talk about why he fears an Obama administration and how it will deny him his dreams. Let a woman who is pro-life talk about her issues. Let investors talk about why they don’t want Obama.
