Actually, I think the problem is half of those half don’t realize it. Or they’ve been bought and sold on noneconomic issues.

I don’t know Democrats who’d prefer to pay more taxes. In fact, I know damn few who even give to charity. They want to keep what is theirs, yet go right on moving leftward like lemmings.

Don Fanucci: Young man, I hear you and your friends are stealing goods. But you don’t even send a dress to my house. No respect! You know I’ve got three daughters. This is my neighborhood. You and your friends should show me some respect. You should let me wet my beak a little. I hear you and your friends cleared $600 each. Give me $200 each, for your own protection. And I’ll forget the insult. You young punks have to learn to respect a man like me! Otherwise the cops will come to your house. And your family will be ruined. Of course, if I’m wrong about how much you stole, I’ll take a little less. And by less, I only mean - a hundred bucks less. Now don’t refuse me. Understand, paisan? Understand, paisan?... Tell your friends I don’t want a lot. Just enough to wet my beak. Don’t be afraid to tell them!

I believe that this has become the narrative that John McCain will ride to victory. I can't believe Obama allowed himself to get caught saying something so stupid, but I can only think that God put Joe the Plumber in that spot at that time to talk to Obama and elicit that response from him.

Yeah, if he believes in spreading the wealth, why does he still have any wealth?

I was at the Stop the Obama rally in Carson City, NV yesterday. Deborah John was one of the speakers. She told us how her son was able to get through to a bunch of liberal classmates.

He asked the McCain supporters to go to one side of the room and Obama supporters go to the other. He asked why each group was for their candidate. Then he hit the Obama supporters with this:

Let's say you were in a really tough class. You work you bum off all semester - doing all of your assignments, studying for all of your tests, pulling an A in the class.

Now, there are a few students who aren't doing anything but barely skating by. Missing assignments, D's or F's on tests and tanking the final exam.

Now, final grades are given out and your grade is a C+. You go to the teacher to find out what happened to your A. The teacher informs you that - in order to be fair - your A has been redistributed to help those students who didn't work as hard as you did.

Then the Obama supporters were asked their feeling on this. The Obama-nites were outraged. Comments like, "That's wrong", "That's not fair", etc. Then the speaker looked at them and said:

You are on the wrong side of the room!

we’re headed into a recession. more like ‘spread the misery around’.

More than 8 of every 10 members in Congress lack an education in business, economics, or finance.

The problem is half of Americans think socialism sounds like a good thing.

Bingo. I tell people I'm against Obama because he's a socialist, and they look at me like, "yeah so"?

A while back I chatted with a University of Chicago professor who was a frequent lunch companion of Obama's. This professor said that Obama was as close to a full-out Marxist as anyone who has ever run for president of the United States.

Would the professor's initials be W.A.!

“SPREADING THE WEALTH AROUND”

Whenever I hear this I think of the political cronies in the Soviet system who all had their dachas in the countryside and whose wives shopped in Paris while the rest of the country waited for yet another five year plan to provide them with simple necessities.

Um, he IS a full-out Marxist, and if elected, we're likely to see him reveal his Stalinist side as well...

Was at a concert recently full of Obama supporters, hippies, Pink, etc. There were to fellows with tee-shirts that read, “Capitalism is the devil’s wet dream.” I really wanted to ask how they got their tickets.

That's the problem...it sounds good. In practice, it is devastating.

When did it ever sound good?

But then my favorite story as a child was The Little Red Hen where all the other farm animals were more than willing to share the bread even though they never did any of the work.

When confronted by Joe the Plumber, Obama was like a child whose Halloween mask slipped exposing him for who he is (and causing him to run into a tree while he's trying to put it back on.)

The problem is half of Americans think socialism sounds like a good thing.

I'd move that up to 60%. Worst part this percent lives in the states that have the majority of the electoral votes. Looks like very sad for McCain. I really believe Obama is a communists because of his socialist attitude and oppression by force of anyone that opposes him.
