Well that was a fun way to start the morning!
Steve Malzberg and Ed Schultz were guests on Fox and Friends when the topic of Joe the Plumber came up.
Steve went first, describing (correctly, I might add) that Obama's tax plan punishes success and was tantamount to Marxism, Ed responded with his own story about his sons' constuction company and spins a tale about how they'd do better under Obama's plan than McCain's.
Malzberg asks Ed whether or not they make 250K and Ed gets testy.
Extremely testy.
So testy, he gets up and walks away!
We see the cord from his microphone dangling for a few seconds and then we're treated to the extremely shocked faces of Gretchen, Steve Malzberg and Brian...who cannot believe what just happened.
The segment wraps up with everyone mock storming off set and leaving Gretchen to do the news and then the entire crew follows suit.
Except for Gretchen...who's now all by her lonesome.
Ah, those racist, right-wing talkers at Fox, harassing a poor “progressive” talk show host. /s

Whiney-loony...how apt! I would have loved to have seen this.
Give the man a giant seegar. THAT, my FRiend is the crux of the whole matter, and why Democrats shouldn't be allowed anywhere elected office. Virtually the entire party doesn't know ANY basic economics or finance - the difference between Gross and Net Income, the difference between Revenue and Profit. They're dangerous as hell to anyone who works, or has any aspirations at all. They lie to our faces and tell us they want the American Dream for everyone, but have no idea what it takes to actually achieve the American Dream.
Their idea is that if someone actually has done better than most, that somehow that person has cheated the others, and it's their (the Dems) job to make sure that the guy who "cheated" his way to the top gives back a "fair share" to those who haven't done so well, even if the ones who haven't done well haven't done a solid day's work in their entire miserable, lazy lives.

I saw it as well, obviously it struck a chord about the future taxation Obamas plan will do and some people cannot stomach it much less admit Obama is going to create a socialist agenda for America.
Thank God that Joe the Plumber got to peel back Obama’s guard so his Marxism plans slipped out and got more exposure! We will be sure to hear a lot more from Joe during the next 19 days!
I have always felt that Zero’s extremist position on abortion would be the dark horse issue of this election.
He’s left of NARAL, for crying out loud.
I hope there’s some 527’s out there highlighting this issue because I gotta tell you, I think most people would be STUNNED by Mr. Hope N. Change’s stance on partial birth abortion and INFANTICIDE (which he lied through his teeth about in the last debate).

I was watching and turned it off to get into work so I could earn more and contribute more toward wealth spreading. I wish I had stayed with it! I suspected Eddy was on the brink of losing it when the conservative used the word “marxist” - that set him off. You could tell by his arrogant, haughty laugh. Sorry I missed the meltdown.
Or Obama’s statement the other day that “No one has Capital Gains anymore”. Shows stunning ignorance of how investing and the market works—yet no one in the MSM even challenged it.
I think he’s the Ed Schultz that has a lib talk show in Fargo, N.D.
The important point (and it is VERY important) is that Obama wants to massively raise taxes on every business that is big enough to employ more than a couple of people. The issue is about killing the goose that laid the golden egg, not about personal income. STAY FOCUSED, EVERYBODY. Work the friends and relatives, as well as prosepctive in-laws and associates you don’t like that well. We can beat Barry in the next three weeks on his Marxism. You and me. Let’s show this Redistribution Socialist what a grassroots movement REALLY looks like!!!

Steve down in The Villages had on two “Joe the plumbers” who said that it’s not necessary to have a license when you work for someone else...and that they, too, were very much against Barry’s spreading the wealth.
