The leader of the national anti-Obama movement, legendary Chicago Internet columnist and Obama author Andy Martin, will hold a Honolulu news conference today, October 20, 2008 to announce he has asked the Hawai’i Supreme Court to entertain an emergency writ expediting the release of Senator Barack Obama’s secret birth records.
A copy of the Petition will be posted on Martin’s blogs later today after it is docketed by the Supreme Court. The Hawai’i Supreme Court petition supplements and expands on a lawsuit filed Friday, October 18th in the Circuit Court of Hawai’i.
Martin is due back in New York on Friday, October 24th for network television interviews.

Oh well, it’s a special character called an “okina”, which is usually just substituted in with an apostrophe.

Most of the time, Hawai’i is sufficient. There’s a trend that goes back for some time to include the okina, and also long marks (macrons) over long vowels. Since the Hawai’ian language only has twelve letters, a e h i k l m n o p u w, it’s more easily read by adding the okina in, and marking long vowels. (Plus, w has two sounds...) But it doesn’t matter, as Obama is about Hawai’ian as a Hawaiian Punch!
Given the extreme strength of the Democratic Party in Hawaii, I doubt this is a campaign stop. He either has a sick grandmother or he needs to be there for some other reason.

The easy fix is to for the agency that issues passports to show us the copy of the birth certificate that they felt was legit to allow him to get his passport...is that so difficult? Seriously I could produce mine in 20 mins (I think it’s in my little home safe) and if not could go to WI and get in a week or less...

Done, I emailed him and wished him good luck. You know the Obamination Media Hacks will be all over Andy by tomorrow morning. We will know Andy’s shoe size, color of tile in the bathroom, how many stamps on his passport, and who was his first girlfriend. But the Media will NEVER ask BO for his birth certificate
