Joe Wurzelbacher, a.k.a. "Joe the Plumber," said Friday he may consider running for Congress in 2010, challenging longtime Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D) in the Toledo-area district.
"I'll tell you what, we'd definitely be in one heck of a fight," Wurzelbacher said during an appearance on the Laura Ingraham show Friday, "but, you know, I'd be up for it."
It WOULD be great if COngress were made up of “average Joes” instead of the snobby elites who have
“EFFED UP this country, bigtime!”

If Joe were to run as a Republican the media would immediately ignore him.

I think this is what we need, regular people to rise up and step up to the plate and take the government back.
His ten minutes of fame are about up. By 2010 he’s going to be “Joe who?”

He is not a crook; therefore, he will not pass the resume test.

I think this is a mistake, at least for now. The fact is that he has had a bigger impact already than many congressman/women ever make. By becoming one of them he is not longer unique and loses an element of credibility as a ‘normal’ person.
I just hopes he keeps safe.
Goodness knows if Obifuhrer had his way, there wont be any oposition in the position to challange his hoped for dictatorship.
I’ve been telling my husband since this all started that he should run for office!!!!!!!!! Half of his battle is fought, people know who he is and what he stands for.
If this guys runs I am definitely contributing to his campaign.

Probably true but Joe would have to learn to drop all the,”I mean” and “You know” from his speech. I can barely stand to listen to him because of this, it sets my teeth on edge.
It just hit me..
No matter what power the liberal media thinks they have. It is God that is in control. It is God that lifted up Sarah and now Joe for the world to see. Reguardless of what happens in the future.
With all of the trash being tossed at her and her family. Sarah still has a deep desire to serve her country. Who put this in her heart ? God. It is her calling.
For Joe to even consider a future in politics. A guy that is working long hours to feed his family. That takes a lot of guts.
Thank God there are still patriots standing at the gate. Willing to fight for what is right.
Maybe he could finally fix leaky Leahy.
