As reported on another thread:
"Major Garrett reports from Hawaii 10 minutes ago that David Axelrod the Campaign Manager for Barack Obama says as of this morning the campaign had a meeting in Chicago and according to internal numbers they have "a clear road to victory holding all Kerry states while picking up Ohio, Florida, Colorado, Nevada and Virginia with an excellent shot at Montana, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Indiana."
They are saying they will get to 400 EV's election night."
And I just heard through the grapevine yesterday that McCain-Palin are needing grassroots support in battleground states like Nevada, Montana, Ohio, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, etc.
Can you imagine conservative Republican states going for Obama? No, and neither can I. Obama has the money, the press and the resources. McCain-Palin has the grassroots. It's time for the grassroots to scramble to action!
Grassroots? That's us! Time for all Free Republic chapters and members to visit or call the closest McCain-Palin or Republican headquarters, grab some signs, man the phones, walk the precincts, join rallies, spread the word! Don't let Obama and ACORN steal the election!! Get in their faces!!
We did it in 2000 and 2004, we can do it again in 2008!!
Go to work FReepers and Lurkers!! Get out the VOTE!!
You heard it here first!
Go get 'em FReepers!!
I’m on board. My next stop is the local campaign office.
Already on the job, Cap’n!
Bagdhad Bob said the same thing, that’s what they get paid to do, but, I type this from my Blackberry in the rampart tower... :o)
Durn Jim, you reach your $80,000 goal and you get feisty!!
I like that in a man. You tell ‘em bucko!
The only way they can take the South again is to stuff the ballot boxes.
Do not be discouraged. It means we just have to work alittle harder to drag McCain over the finish line, even if hes kicking and screaming.
1.) Protest the media day write letters, call, picket. Lets keep this up until 11/4 - do whatever it takes.
2.) Put up a yard sign, bumper sticker, wear a shirt - show your party with pride.
3.) Donate time, money - Not everyone has extra money to give, but working the phone banks is almost painless, a hour here or there...and you get to meet a lot of great people. Phone calls can also be made from home.
4.) Sign petitions Grassfire.org has a acorn petition and they also have a birth cert.
5.) Blog, blog, blog place links to youtube vidios or stories on other sites, especially those who work with the pumas - the MSM wont get the word out, but we can!!
6.) Dont believe the polls In fact, dont believe anything the media tells you this election. Is there a bradley effect...maybe. What alot of people are missing is many republicans voted for Hillary in the primary. Why?? Operatin Chaos or because they didnt want a marxist like bho near the oval office and the republican candidate had already been decided. So, there are not as many dems as people would have you think.
7.) Remain positive Nothing postive ever resulted from being negative.
We can do this!!
I wish I lived in a state that wasn’t so stupid. I’d love to join in the fight, other than on my keyboard. Go Freepers!
A vote for McCain is a vote against Hussein.....and Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan....
The South shall rise again!!
Going down the mountain to pick up some signs tomorrow.
Re-Defeat Communism in ‘08!
Jim has sounded the rally cry. The brigades are strong-LETS FIGHT.
All of you can just stay home. You have this election in the bag.
May God bless you for all you do.
Already on board here!
Hey, all you doom and gloomers, GET OUT OF THE WAY!!
Turn off your TVs and stop your praying. Get out there; rally, protest, march, speak to everyone you meet about the dangerous menace of Obama and then, and especially, VOTE. Be fearless, have courage. This man is the most dangerous entity since Hitler and Stalin. Stop him.
