Sorry Poof, I’m not a mathematician, rocket scientist, or graduate from a prestigious university (such as they are). I am however from Rouseville, PA. You know that “racist” and “redneck” NW part of the state that is so obviously unenlightened by Rep Murtha standards.

Tell you what; if my lazy, racist, deer hunting, red necked, no account friends could find it in their hearts to tear away from those bar stools at Sutchs Midway Lounge for an hour or two, I’ll bet your numbers come November 4th just might take on a whole new different meaning. Cheers, you putz…

I agree. I think McCain will win PA. Wouldn’t it be great if he pulled out a win in Michigan also.

What are the chances? Anybody?

In the 2006 Santorum wipeout, the breakout was 43 (D) 38 (R) 19 (I).

If you plug Plouffe's numbers into that turnout model, the results would be:

McCain - 56.1
Obama - 43.9

Looks like you are correct. As long as we don't get demolished in turnout, we have a real shot to win it.

Seriously, run the numbers as if it’s 2000. That’s what I have been doing, on the theory that 2004, Bush had a national security advantage. It was the first Pres. election after 2001, and 9/11 was still fresh in everyone’s minds. Today it’s completely forgotten and the country is as divided as in the Bush / Gore years.

Supposedly, if we get PA, we get VA? But we could get VA w/o getting PA. SO of course I am praying we do get PA.

I am not a math geek, but, in order for Obama to beat McCain in Pa ( Pfloufe must be expecting Dem turnout to be roughly 20 pts higher than GOP turnout in Pennsylvania! ) Obama would have to have 20 pts higher turnout than the GOP .. am I correct ?

saying that the Obama camp couldn't figure out why McCain was campaigning in PA.

Whatever "they" don't want you to do, DO 10X HARDER AND LONGER!

Maybe the 0bama guy is basing his remarks on the number of fraudulent ballots they’re planning to cast.

Do Amish and Mennonite vote? I know Amish don’t traditionally vote, right? Have they changed over the years?

It is Clear that the Fauxbama camp is completely and UTTERLY clueless about PA, and the Rust Belt in general.

I have said it before and I’ll say it again... McCain will take PA, and I believe at least 1 more rust belt state that went Kerry last time.

He’s got huge problems, has from day one and and his people are so arrogant they can’t realize it.
