Final Days of the Left (Vanity)

It's almost over. What America is witnessing before its very eyes is the death of the Leftwing. Contrary to what commentators like Michael Savage believe in that America is fast becoming a leftist country, I believe the opposite is true. And the Left are in their death throes.

Proof you ask for? Over the last eight years, over 50 million people were freed from the tryanny. Over the last eight years, America experienced the largest round of economic growth in the history of man. Over the last eight years, more states moved to abolish abortion while more and more states are putting marriage amendments into their state constitutions.

What else you ask? The moratorium on offshore drilling has been lifted. Two constructionist justices were put onto the Supreme Court. For the first time in over 100 years, the second amendment won a major victory in the Supreme Court. While not perfect, a border fence is being constructed and raids on illegal immigrants and companies that hire them has resulted in many illegals going back to their home countries. More universities across America are seeing Conservative clubs spring up, fighting the Leftwing education establishment. As well as more families are home schooling their children.

Finally, the old world media is in decline due to the presence of talk radio, Fox News and the "pajamadeem" in the right wing blogosphere. The truth is getting out and the old media are scared.

So what does this all mean? It means the Left and their partners in the media are in full panic mode as evidenced by their "surge" in trying to take down this country on election day. In every area of society, the left has come under attack and they will do everything in their power to stop it. This includes lying, cheating, intimidation and hiding the truth.

And what better way to to this then to use 60's radicals and activists educated in Marxist ideology, community organizing and street theatre. As their front man, an African American who would be immune from public attack due to race while attacking the very fabric of this society with impunity and cover from the Leftwing media.

Over the last eight years, Americans have been witness to made up scandals, such as the Wilsons, staff firings, Katrina, WMD and now the collapse of our financial system. How many times have we heard and read about the "failed policies of the Bush administration."

I submit to all of you that we are not in this mess because of the failed policies of the Bush administration, but because of the successful policies of the Bush administration.

These are the final days of the left. As Americans it is our job on election day to ensure that the Leftwing dies a violent death. They are desperate and are willing to destroy this country so that they can live. We have seen the lengths they will go to. We know what the leftwing is capable of, seeing it in Venezuela and other places around the world. We know the worlds Socialist elite want to run the world from the UN.

Question is how far will Americans go to ensure the Leftwing is relegated to ash heap of history?

The enemy I can see is far preferable to the one I can't or don't see.

I admire your optimism and your understanding of Communism's intentions. However, they were exposed for what they are in the forties, at the end of WWII and their occupation and subjugation of Eastern Europe, and again with their occupation and destruction of North Korea, Vietnam and Cambodia. Millions of those who were "liberated" were slaughtered.

They were fully exposed in this country in the 1960's with all the stuff Bill Ayers and his groups were doing as well as the Black Panthers and similar groups. They have been slowly infiltrating our media, education system, the Democrat Party, the labor unions, the judicial system, and others for over seventy years.

What you are seeing now that causes you to say they "have been exposed" is just the tip of the ice berg. The media are openly propagandists for the Left. They have been doing much grassroots work to take over the politics at local levels and to liberally salt our voter registration list with millions of fraudulent voters and they have for years and years with few of them ever being purged. They have taken over the election system.

The Left is always a small extreme minority who make a lot of noise and who demand their way. They fight with gutter tactics and there are no rules - ethical, legal or otherwise - until they overcome the majority. Once in control they never relinquish it.

I don't want you or anyone else to relax, thinking the battle is won. It is far from over and it will get tougher and more dangerous. Keep up your optimism and determination but, above all else, keep fighting.

I'm with you there, fully.

Now, in re your other comments. Communism is a nasty thing, and it is dark because it rots the soul, it deprives humans of what excellent talents lie in the pursuit of "happy" -- a fulfilling path which benefits its creator and all those around. Brings all joy, prosperity, civility, fairness, honor, and so forth.

However, communism is, like Old Nick, never fully exposed, permanently. Communism, like Old Nick, changes his shape through each rising carnation through time. And comes to devour the quick and the dead alike. The dead are usually claimed first: we call this "historical revisionism". Modernists usually write these off as lies, or, new-age speak: perspective/frame of reference, point of view.

However, communism cannot not be evermore defeated in mortal terms, and because the flaws and inadequacies of mankind do not permit such perfect vision, and ergo, detection.

Most certainly not while Old Nick is newly formed into a new shape and digging deep tentacles into the Earth and through the soul of humans.

And the ugly thing rises again, this time taking a different shape and form. And its crooning continues: "Live for yourself, do your own thang! Pay no attention to that dark and smelly corner. That well-dressed man there! He's your better, pay attention to him!"

And people look everywhere but at that which is truly Old Nick.

Well, I do say, this storytelling would be a lot more fun were we around a campfire, a fire-place centered cheery room with the storm howling madly outside the shuttered windows. But Old Nick has shown his face, and we see that there are no windows, is no fireplace, no campire, no shelter from the wind; He's glaring right at us, very hungry, and we get to decide whether to run to our neighbors for shelter and for them to "affirm" what we saw with our own eyes, run to the craggy rocks, or to stand and, drawing forth our sharpest tools, aim for his eyes and tiny heart.

That's what I meant by "exposed". Each time through history he's risen, always in a different shape. People keep looking for the same old ugly beast, and they blame God for allowing the Shape Shifter to be so darned sneaky. lol. This of course, uses up valuable time when one could just as readily be building a "sneaky devil scent discerner" and to far more productive ends, but there lies the "rest of the story" as to why Old Nick is not mortally and permanently defeated: One never steps into the same river twice.

We shall win this round, too. Stand your fast!
