Skinheads planned to kill Obama and 102 others in Tennessee.
Federal agents have disrupted a plot to assassinate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate dozens of black students in Tennessee, the ATF said Monday.
In court records unsealed Monday, federal agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads. Agents said the skinheads did not identify the school by name.
A source in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives told FOX News that the two skinheads, who were picked up in Crockett County, Tenn., were plotting to shoot 88 black students and decapitate 14 others described as non-whites. The source said officials believe the suspects were planning to attempt an assassination against Obama.
The numbers 88 and 14 are symbolic in the white supremacist community.
But officials could not describe how advanced or credible the plot was, nor could they say if they had contacted the Obama campaign.
Jim Cavanaugh, special agent in charge of the Nashville field office for the ATF, said the suspects also sought to go on a national killing spree, with Obama as its final target.
Wonder which one is the ATF informant?
The Devil is in the details. Some hare-brained “plot” involving a number of improbable steps is one thing; guys with a coherent action plan, armed and climbing into their vehicles is another.
My money is on the former in this case.

It's called the BATFE, an agency of the government specifically charted to violate the Constitution.
If the ATF is the source of this story then the veracity of every single word is in doubt.
Cubicle bound so don’t hv time to ready all 300 + posts. But what I got from the FOX thing was some Columbine types targetting a high school. Then threw in Obama to get even more attention?

I would only ask a simple question, which candidate favors more gun control, and thus an increase in the duties, and budget of the BATFE, and which favors the individual right view of the second amendment?
'nuff said.

Today's suspects are Daniel Cowart of Bells, Tennessee and Paul Schlesselman of West Helena.
The August suspects were Tharin Gartrell, Nathan Johnson, and Shawn Robert Adolf.

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Two men have been charged with making threats against presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Daniel Cowart, 20, of Bells, Tennessee and Paul Schlesselman, 18, of West Helena were charged in a federal complaint last Friday of illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun, conspiracy to rob a federal firearms licensee, and making threats against a major candidate for the Office of President.
According to the complaint, Cowart and Schlesselman met via the Internet through a mutual friend last month, with both men claiming to have very strong beliefs regarding “White Power” and “Skinhead” philosophies.
The complaint said the pair discussed robbing a gun shop in order to gather weapons and ammunition to use in a ‘killing spree.’
On October 20, 2008, Cowart allegedly traveled from Tennessee to Arkansas to pick up Schlesselman in order to carry out their plan.
According to the complaint, the defendants further discussed their killing spree to include targeting a predominately African American school, and to continue their spree until their final act of violence, which would be to attempt to assassinate Obama.
Officials said Cowart and Schlesselman stated that they would be willing to die during their attempt.
The pair was arrested on October 22, 2008 by the Crockett County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Department.
Cowart and Schlesselman appeared in court Monday, and are scheduled to appear again at a detention hearing on October 30th.
