For a number of weeks now, conservative Beltway insiders Kathleen Parker and Peggy Noonan, among others, have narrowed their sights not on the Democratic candidate for president, but the Republican candidates running mate. Sarah Palin has brought out something in them that rivals the 80s sitcom Full House when it comes to the shudder factor.
Why beautiful, accomplished women like Parker and Noonan would join the MSM pile-on of the beautiful, accomplished woman from Alaska is, on its face, confusing.
But for anyone who knows anything about how DC works, maybe its not so confusing after all....

Rabble-rousers depend on weak willed people to swell their ranks, best that they be identified. I think we are entering a period that will test the mettle of us all. We are seeing some of the results of this, others will follow. You may even see heroes emerge from strange places.
It's only the insecure that feel threatened by Sarah.
did Noonan have an abortion ??
As a woman and a conservative, I can tell you I have no use for these women. If they can’t stand behind us they should get out of the way. I already cancelled my local paper after subscribing 15 years because of their Obama endorsement. I actually killed two birds with that one since they print Parker’s column.
“...Good bye Peggy, good bye Kathleen...”
Exactly. They want to pick our leaders. They have to pay a price for what they are doing. Regardless of how this election turns out, they have to be ostracized from the conservative movement once and for all. Stop buying and reading their books. Stop patronizing the online sites that publish them. Stop watching and listening to the shows and networks that give them face time. Boycott any advertiser that funds any of the aforementioned. If we don’t, these snakes are just going to keep doing what they are doing to us now.
LOL!!
Throw these "old guard" democrats out, and make a fresh new start with patriots like Sarah.
To have the best conservative running for the Executive branch since Ronald Reagan stabbed in the back by Peggy Noonan THE BITCH is an act so traitorous I will never forget it or forgive it. Peggy Noonan can go to hell for all I care. I'm done with her.
There were lots of male officers I did not like personally, but we worked together well, as Professionals. At the Officers club, we drank beer with our buddies. But we did not spend time trying to derail the careers of other officers, with whom we were in competition for promotion.
Not true the women. Criminy. (Yes, lots has changed since then).
Sure would be nice to see VP Palin head up an investigation of the press' misuse of their unique constitutional playground, targeting partisan bias and business linkages.
Gov Palin is smoking out the bigots, a good thing for the future.
I see.
There is a word for a woman who sells herself this way. I would rather not apply it to Ms. Noonan, who purports to be a good Catholic. But if she has so betrayed her party and her principles, then she deserves to have that epithet applied to her.
I one looked forward to Peggy’s column in the WSJ and enjoyed her earliest books. I ignore her column at this point.
I should have prefaced that I am speaking generally about women who have had abortions. of course I do not know about these to in particular. but many conservative women I know who have had abortions resent her for her position.
“Venus envy”
Todd envy?
And yet we're suppose to believe that 100% of the Hillary women in PA are going for McCain.
When you get angry and bitter, you naturally become a liberal. That is the first definition of liberal. Others are: wanting more than you have and believing the government should give it to you. Rich people have too much money and should give it to you.
