Breaking News: Bill Richardson lowers Obama's definition of rich down to $120,000
Rocky Mountain News ^ | 10-31-2008 | Ross Kaminsky

This morning, New Mexico governor Bill Richardson, and enthusiastic supporter of Barack Obama, continued the downward ratchet of the level of income at which Barack Obama intends to confiscate income.

Obama started at $250,000, then said $200,000.

Joe Biden then dropped the bar to $150,000 three days ago.

And now, Bill Richardson is telling us that anyone making over $120,000 will be penalized by an Obama administration.

I smell a rat. I think Richardson said this on purpose to screw Obama. If Richardson thinks Obama is going to lose - he will try to screw him and get back in the good graces of the Clintons. Believe me - Bill and Hillary know what is going on.

I know people on the ground there. There are connected ward style GOTV Democrats who are very plugged in working for McCain. It is not a secret in NM but the pollsters and MSM have no clue.

RE: “I wonder what the final figure will be.”

I truly think the final figure will be 40,000.

It could even go to 30,000 though.

People are idiots to believe Obama.”

**************

Yep, anyone who believes one thing this fake says is truly stupid. I’m thinking the final number will be $42,500!

“I realize that liberals will argue with that conclusion. But what alternative is there other than a weak argument that Obama might lower taxes below $X of income, raise taxes above $Y of income, and do nothing in between. I believe that outcome is unlikely, and if he tries it, he’ll blow a huge hole in the budget.”

I think they assume married filing jointly. Remember the cutoffs for single filers are about half those of joint filers. If they've dropped "the rich" threshold to $120,000 for those filing jointly, the singles are going to get dinged above $60,000. So much for "the rich".

Of course, if Ocraphead's definition of "the rich" are those he's going to tax more, we're all "rich", because everyone will pay more when The Holy One and his 'Rat allies allow the Bush tax cuts to expire. That's across-the-board higher taxes.

I’m voting for Obama now. He’s not even elected yet and I’m getting richer by the day.

LOL

On top of this, Obama does not want to extend the Bush tax cuts. Your tax rates will go back to the 2000 year rates at the end of 2010. This is a tax increase by any standards, but Obama calls it a “lapse in a tax cut”. Hopefully McCain will get the word out. Example, a married couple with a taxable income of $75,000 will see a tax increase of over $3,800. Does not include increase in cap gains or SS tax.

If you wonder why the news networks isn’t reporting this, its ‘cause they’re breathlessly quoting Lawrence Eagleburger on Sarah Palin.

What is up with that? Can't find anything on it.

"100? 100 to the man on the left! Do I hear 95? 95K? 95K for the definition of rich. 95K? 95K to the lady on the left. Do I hear 90? 90K?"

Hint: It's actually $42K for Obama and his socialist buddies. They WILL RAISE your taxes, people!

According to Biden we’re unpatriotic if we don’t want to pay higher taxes ....(and give our hard-earned money away as welfare).

According to Obama we’re “selfish” if we don’t want to pay higher taxes .... (and give our hard-earned money away as welfare).

Can we all agree that Obama/Biden MUST be kicked into the dustbin of political history on November 4th?!

(I knew we could! ;^D )

A former secretary of state and supporter of Republican presidential nominee John McCain says that McCain's running mate, Sarah Palin, isn't up to the task of taking over the presidency in a crisis but could become "adequate" if not(even)"a genius in the job."

Then again, added Lawrence Eagleburger, several other vice presidents were also not ready. And he said he was confident that Palin, Alaska's governor, was tough enough if called to serve.

One little word could have changed the whole concept. The word even in bold is mine.

It’s simpler than that.

Obama and the RATS are going to retroactively accelerate the expiration of the Bush tax cuts in Januuary 2009. These tax cuts affect all income brackets. Their expiration will also reinstate the marriage penalty.

The RATS cannot afford to have this tax increase fight in 2010, and therefore they will be accelerated.

I honestly cannot understand why McCain is not shouting this from the rooftops. BO has already voted against making these tax cuts permanent.

When President Bush’s tax cuts run out everybody that pays taxes will get a tax increase. Funny how these liberals attempt to ignore that increase.

McCain seems to ignoring this vital argument as well, very much to his political peril. If doesn't want to say "Bush," then just say the tax cuts of 2001 and 2003...

Sarahcuda is calling this out on the trail, and so help me God, if McCain pulls this out, he owes it entirely to her.

Proof positive: I laid this scenario out for a Libtard yesterday -- that people earning under $50,000 are realizing that their taxes are going up up up if Bush's cuts are allowed to expire -- and Libtard had no refute, he simply shuddered at the thought Palin was getting this message out.

He senses what's about to happen...that Middle America came to their senses...

Biden's mouth is nothing but one gaffe after another. I wonder if he ever even read Nobama's plan?

Under $200,000 a tax cut.

Over $250,00 a 3% tax increase.

I don't think Obama's changed his plan. If he changes it, it won't be until after the election. :)

Tell me please, the following: Palin is on the stump saying:

1. “you are selfish” if you don’t want higher taxes according to BO

2. expiration of the 2003 tax cuts means a tax increase for all Americans.

Is it 1 or 2 or both? Your post was not clear. Thanks
