I just got a .40 caliber IWI Desert Eagle and a Springfield XD ACP .45 to go along with my .38 Ruger revolver, .44 magnum lever-action carbine, and (of course) 12 gauge pump gun.Glad you didn't do the .50 DE. Too much bullet.
I was gonna get a nice FNFAL but I gotta wait a bit.

waaaaay to expensive for paper punching, that’s for sure.
Laz’ picture didn’t show knock down loads, but Prole’s sure did.

The source, hardly a perma-optimist, thinks it will be a long night, but that McCain is going to win.I don't think it will be that late. By 10pm EST we will know that McCain has it in the bag.

I wonder if the lefties are keeping track of how resolved we are to make it home the next few nights. :)I hope they are. I spent last night cleaning my AR and my pistols, and putting my body armor tactical carrier together. I also put together my rucksack with food, ammo, and water enough to get my family through three to five days. Gas up the Jeep today, and we're good to go.... just in case.

These polls are very susceptible to the effect variously known as the “Clever Hans” effect, or “shy voter” or what the Brits experienced in 1992 with ALL the polls calling it for Kinnock, when it was John Major who actually won. The Brits called it the “Spiral of Silence.”
It happens when one candidate is widely regarded by opinion-makers as “unfashionable” relative to his opponent. Some people will not admit to a pollster their preference for the “uncool” candidate. It only takes a couple voters per hundred to throw the polls into chaos.
