“FBI asked questions on Rezko land deal
Value at issue, appraiser says”

Jerry Seper
Tuesday, November 4, 2008

ARTICLE SNIPPET: ““Agents and I talked about payoff, bribe, kickback for a long time, though it took them only a short number of minutes of talking with me while looking at the appraisal to acknowledge what they already seemed to know: The Rezko lot was grossly overvalued,” Mr. Conner told The Washington Times Monday.

“Rezko paid the asking price on the same day Obama paid $300,000 less than the asking price to the same seller for his adjacent mansion,” he said. “This begs the question of payoff, bribe, kickback.””

Wait until NH,VA,and NC are called for McCain. That ought to demoralize the voters in Washington and Oregon. If McCain gets a couple of early wins it could be great for Dino Rossi in Washington and maybe a couple of wester Senate seats.

In 2004 I tuned to Fox News to watch the election results. Based on early exit poll data, Brit Hume and William Kristol had my-cat-just-died expressions on their faces. Or at least they did until the actual returns came in. Earlier this afternoon, John Harwood (a MSNBC reporter - and my guess probable Democrat voter) was doing a story and he had the same my-cat-just-died expression. I’m going to look at the faces of a lot of reporters tonight. I think it looks good for McCain.

From Todd Snider’s “Statician’s Blues”

64 percent of all the world’s statistics are made up right there on the spot
82.4 percent of people believe ‘em whether they’re accurate statistics or not
I don’t know what you believe but I do know there’s no doubt
I need another double shot of something 90 proof
I got too much to think about

Wow, that’s nutty. From that exit poll data it looks like VA is safe McCain...but what’s up with Ohio and Indiana? They should be following suit.

it’s all over the place

I voted today in VA around 2:00pm. Parking lot full, but short lines. Already over 1350 votes cast in my precinct, usually not over 1000.

Pollworker said this was the first break they have had since 6:00 am, she has never seen it this heavy.

Glad to report 3 votes for McCain/Palin (me, wife, stepson).

My 2 sons will be voting for McCain later this afternoon. Semi-sure ex-wife will vote for McCain as well (she works for a coal mining machine manufacturer). Mother-in-law also voted McCain in WV.

Watching FoxNews, and they are saying exit polls in Ohio show Obama crushing McCain 69% to 31%. They`re talking like Obama is a shoe in to win the whole election.

Actually if you think about it they are polling in cities in the middle of the day - who is home to go vote. Next they said that 10% of the voters are new voters and Barack got 67& of them - we knew that. But - McCain got 33%. Then, McCain got many more white men than Barack. Especially in Virginia.
I actually think it is pretty good news. White men make up 30% of the voters.
If this is the worst damage he can do in the heavily Democratic areas of the swing states then I am not sure it will put him over the top because - in the end as long as McCain wins the state he doesn’t have to worry about the numbers of voters.

I’m not interested in the lib game of demoralizing voters and I know you are not either.

Let everyone vote. If they are sane, they will reject socialism.

If not, than Thomas Jefferson was right....

“Democracy guarantees that people will get the Government they deserve.”

I live in the Democratic People’s Republic of NJ so I know.

67% think Biden is qualified to be President?!?!?!? That is just so wrong on so many different levels. Lord, please help us, if we’re not too far gone to be helped, that is.

I’m watching Kelly read the polls now and laughing at the utter silliness!

They make no sense and they aren’t reported with any clarity regarding how many were polled versus how many responded.

A total waste of my time listening to fluff like this.

If these exit polls prove correct, we will never again really be able to question the polls like we did this time.
