Ohio Election Results Live Thread
Ohio Secretary of State ^ | 11/04/08 | TonyInOhio

Posted on 11/04/2008 3:54:25 PM PST by TonyInOhio

I'll be posting results and analysis on this thread as the Ohio returns come in. There are a couple of wild cards in play this year. First, our new early voting period means that some early results will be skewed, as it appears that a significant proportion of Democrats, especially African Americans, voted early. This will give an advantage to Democrats in the early numbers.

Secondly, a significant number of ACORN registrations were determined to be invalid (like 1/3) and so many of those registratnts, if the vote, will be give provisional ballots. These ballots will only be counted if the regular and early vote margin is too close to call.

Many of us who vote by absentee method are disabled, or unable to wait in long lines for other health reasons. I know you concerns, but eliminating the absentee would have eliminated my ability to vote.

Don’t intend to make it tough for the disabled. Most of the absentee voters I know didn’t want the hassle of going today to vote. I’d certainly make a concession for disabled voters.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com has a great tally board, but it lists only percentages, as does Fox, CBS, CNN.

Anyone know of a nationwide tallyboard which lists raw votes — maybe even with drill down by state? (Probably hoping for too much.)

Your help is much appreciated. Cleveland's one of the ACORN-Fraud hotspots. Keep 'em honest!

The polls in Ohio have closed. The Secretary of State is awaiting data from our 88 counties.

I wish I didn't have to work Cuyahoga County. The dems are just too weird.

Yeah , come hold my hair back...

Cuyahoga county though...

Please let the rest of the state be sane.

Now, I know why I felt so freakin’ alienated. Maybe a move is in order...

They just called NH for Obama. I’m bummed. That probably means a possible NH-01 pickup is gone, too.

I thought conservatives respected perseverence and hard work. I stood on line...4 times to vote for Obama. Show me some love.

Signed,

Looter guy
