Someone on Fox News (Jim Engle, I think) was just on saying that they are seeing a large amount of "WPE" (Within Precinct Error) in the exit polling, meaning that the actual results reported by the precincts are much lower for Obama than the results that the exit pollsters gathered. In Pennsylvania, I think he said that this number was 10.4%, meaning that Obama was exit polling 10.4% better than the actual results being reported.
In Florida, they reported that it was a difference of 3.4 or 3.9%. Also significant in NC, VA, and other places.
I freeking hate being lied too!~!!!#t%^&(_^^(_&+_(!#$^+()!^*
fu fox news!
I decided not to watch ANY of the networks, including full-of-itself Fox. It’s more productive to troll the state election Websites, especially for Fla., Ohio and PA. Better results and to the minute, for the most part. For example, Ohio shows McCain-Obama identical at 49.6, as of 9 pm. We shall see what we shall see.
Drink some wine, put your slippers on, and brace for a long and interesting night. With good fortune, we may yet prevail.
I warned you they could do this with PA folks, call it early based purely on bad exit polls only to back off... hold on.
It has to be exit polls, they called Minnesota after the polls were closed for 2 minutes and I can still see people waiting in line to get in to vote.
Further, what is a Barone?
I poll watched today and had an exit poller outside our precinct. She said that men avoided her 50% of the time. Exit polls do not mean didly. We saw that in 2004.
Fox News has called Ohio for Obama. If this is correct, we will be living in a Communist country as of January 20.
If you want to surrender hope so easily crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. Surrender is for losers, never give up hope, you should be a DUer.
Um... I’ll have what she’s having.
Get some sleep. Or something. Might I suggest Vicodin?
People are still voting in PA. The polls can’t know at this time, neither can FOX
Not many sane people will stand around and do a 10 minute survey, especially, when you have been told your guy isn’t going to win and you are their just to do your vote and leave.
a few votes have been counted, and it’s over? At least have the grace to pretend you are optimistic so people will still vote. HOW can we ever win, ever, if we just throw in the towel when tens of millions of votes are still being cast?
CBS has declared Ohio for Obama while this is up on the Ohio SOS Website
McCain, John (R) 49.33 % 268,413
Obama, Barack (D) 49.12 % 267,274
I confess I read some exit poll results (from Fox News, no less) earlier, and the trends they were showing were so far off from empirical evidence presented that all I could think of was the jubilant "KERRY BY A LANDSLIDE!!" in 2004....and then it turned out that it was REALLY Bush by a landslide unless we can find a way to hang Ohio on it's non-existent chads, but Kerry WILL win this election eventually...
That's what you've been seeing on all the networks.
Fox Reporting
Obama 56%
McCain 42%
While the Ohio SOS website reports
McCain, John (R) 49.66 % 293,135
Obama, Barack (D) 48.75 % 287,760
Maybe a nice, long, hot mug of catnip tea with a shot of black mint (enhances the effect) and honey to taste (I drink it straight) for a powerful anti-depressant without all the suicidal side effects generally found in prescription antidepressants?
Can you provide a link to that website?
Why is FOXNews calling MN for Oabam when it is 49% McCain & 49% Obama for the popular vote?
