It is times like this that I prepare for a military takeover of our country so it won’t be destroyed by an unformed electorate.
Not trying to make lemonade, but the fact is, BHO will have a lot on his plate, some of which (i.e. the economy) is no more his fault than it was Bush’s. It’s his turn, and only time will tell how well he handles these challenges. But yes, now the shoe is on the other foot, and while we should be the “loyal opposition”, we will always be opposed to anti-conservative principles.
Not that the president-elect believes in God or anything like that.....

The Palestinian barrage, which coincided with Barack Obama’s victory rally in Chicago, followed a battle that erupted Tuesday night when an Israeli armored force crossed 250 meters deep into the Gaza Strip to demolish a Hamas tunnel dug from Al Bureij the Israel military position at the Kissufim border.

On my good days, I’ll strive to match your pledge of support. But...I don’t see too many good days if he goes after the Constitution the same way the dims went after truth in general and Bush in particular. If that happens, then as Rev Wright says, the chickens will indeed come home to roost.

I think that there is a silver lining to all of this; the Dems now get a chance to crash-n-burn and people will learn from it and get their priorities straight before the next election.
If McCain had won, people would continue to believe that all the bad in the world was the fault of conservatives. So unless the world gets all shiny and pretty in the next 4 years, people’s eyes will open.
