Patience - surely a couple of days of Vanities is not going to create any problems - let people blow off a bit of steam - and yes I posted a vanity yesterday!

A couple of things. kristinn has earned his stripes at FR. He has put in more hours on behalf of Free Republic than anyone else but Jim. He is also the official spokesman for FR.
He is not a moderator, by his choice I assume, be he is respected by all the oldtimers and by all the moderators on FR and if he posts something, the mods will allow it no matter where or what he posts.

I agree. I’m on the flip side-I’m getting more and more pissed at the people bitching about the vanities. Allow people to at least let off steam, for God’s sake. I thought this was for an exchange of ideas.

Just a bit ticked off? If I had bought a bottle of Jack D. Election Night, I would have made a MOAB of a vanity the following morning.
“Um, excuse me,I-I think you forgot my bread.”
“Bread, two dollars extra.”
“Two dollars? But everyone in front of me got free bread.”
“You want bread?”
“Yes, please.”
“Three dollars!”
“What?”
“No soup for you!”
That’s actually a very good vanity post.
But what about those that posted vanities after the election while drunk?
