Some people here have been known to take Iowahawk seriously. :)
He didn’t even get a 48-hour honeymoon!

LOL!!!
True. I’ve been talking to a good friend of mine - an ignorant (not stupid, just ignorant of what just happened to our America) liberal, black American, but a dear friend - about this, and he told me its only about EMOTION, and that the people that voted for Obama don’t care if they are screwed because they felt vindicated on November 4th. No matter what H does from now, they WILL support him. What we have to hope for and change, is the ignorance of these sad souls. It IS a possibility and I believe it WILL happen with the support of our our disenfranchised black conservatives that never wanted to see this travesty.
I get fooled by some too. Sometimes the satire is so spot on that you can’t tell the difference. But the piece that you posted? Sarcasm on a witty level. Loved it.
I have been chided by some for not being excited by the historic nature of the Obama presidency. Perhaps because I was raised in small towns and have relatives who are Hispanic, Black and Native American, I have never considered it a big deal that he is part black. I feel no excitment about his presidency because I have always considered it possible for anyone to make it to the top. Pretty naive I guess. Also, I consider him to be dishonest and believe that he wants to take the nation in the wrong direction. I am suppose to be excited about that?
Call me an optimist, but I like to think when America's breadlines erupt into riots it will be because of our shared starvation, not the differences in our color.
Rush, of course, will enjoy this.
Ping.
Nobody does it like Iowahawk.
That was satire?
You know the sad part of all this is that the first black president will be a terrible one. It’s too bad it was not a conservative that would have been the first and no doubt great.
Partly. :)
I dunno, I think this about captures my reaction perfectly.
We need to run conservative Democrats in the primaries to replace the old guard. They run unopposed in a lot of cases. In some states Republicans don't have a chance because they are simply outnumbered and outvoted.
More Republicans will vote for conservative Democrats than Democrats will vote for liberal Republicans. The point is to get decent, hardworking people in office.
Absolutely the best ever!
Comedy gold, I tell ya!
I forwarded a previous IowaHawk column to my college son. His roommates thought he was having seizure he was laughing so hard.
I wish this gent had a larger audience.
Iowahawk does it again!!! Hilarious!!!
Iowahawk rules.
As usual!
