Absolutely right- silence is what put the country into this. Everyone too afraid, thanks to accusations of racism or sexism or assorted other isms to speak up and call it like they see it.

The left is going to ramp up the fear level but we're just going to have to speak up.

Or, to quote another movie.. “There's no crying in baseball”.
I'm not a salesman. I am reminded of one of the Ziggler stories about the little girl that astonishes her parents when she puts the extremely complex jigsaw puzzle together.

Great Leaders are born of great struggle...not created by the media.

The left has no concept of reality, therefore they have no workable policies, therefore everything they try will fail. All they ever do is talk, and all the talk ever is, is a whine that everything in creation is someone else's fault. They will whine like crazy in "power", since they will have no power, no ability to cause things to happen. Only an ability to plaster blame wherever they like, without it ever helping anything.

And no, I don't want to convince them to buy this shiny new car. I don't want to convince them of anything. I want them to give up in impotent sputtering rage, and then I want them to drop dead. But I won't lift a finger to help them in anything, and to teach a man is to help him.

If they repent in dust and ashes and beg forgiveness for all their slander and injustice, I'll consider providing them rudimentary instruction in where the levers of reality are placed. Until that day, they can pound sand, and whine themselves silly. Have your hissy fit, bastards. Try whining as a solution to Ahmadinejad with nukes and an economic meltdown. I'm not moving a muscle.

I’m not accusing Barack Obama of wanting to run a gulag, and assume that he is a decent man who would genuinely be sickened, and recoil from the very idea.

Don't bet on that.

Why assume anything? You can let him prove himself to be whatever he actually is. And we know who some of his past friends and colleagues have been...

In your chosen profession in sales, you made a lot of friends and gained knowledge from the people you met. That's called networking. Same as me. My profession in microwave led me to meet a lot of people from big aerospace companies that say "I met Bob and he knows what we're doing".

When CA becomes dysfunctional, I have an open job in Texas with an engineer buddy from the Air Force there. I can inform Texas people how not to become like CA, if they don't already know. Wandering Apostle Bob from CA.
