Honestly I am shocked and amazed that California voted against gay marrige. Don’t know how long it will last but I am glad they voted for a normal society.

Homosexual unions is not a huge issue with me but I would always tend to vote against it (mainly because I don’t think gays should be able to adopt!).

Prop 8 got 87,000 “Yes” votes in San Francisco County. John McCain got 49,000 votes in San Francisco County. I’m really surprised at how many votes Prop 8 got in the most liberal county in California.

Greyfoxx39, your first link to a blog describes an alleged incident of violence as reported by two homosexual women. The two homosexual women claim that two Mormon women singled out the two homosexual women from the mob of hundreds of screaming protesters, and then shouted bad things at the two homosexual women.

Later the two homosexual women claimed they were injured and requested transport to the hospital.

Your linked Los Angeles Times video shows two men whom the reporter claims identified themselves as Mormons. In the video the two men are seen removing the homosexual mobs' signs which were defacing private property. The two men are also seen in the video attempting to be heard over the loud taunts of the violent homosexual mob while showing the reporter the sprayed-on homosexual grafitti on the support column for the fence of the private property.

From what is seen in the Los Angeles Times video, nothing those two men did could be considered a hate crime in the United States, that is, prior to November 4, 2008.

Nothing in the Los Angeles Times video is justification for the mob of violent homosexuals attacking the elderly woman, ripping the cross from her hands and stomping on it.

The protesters move up close to shout in the faces of the reporter and the elderly woman.

The screaming protester on the right is shown punching his fist towards the elderly woman.

He punched his fist repeatedly at the elderly woman shouting "I'm tired of being peaceful. It's time for us to fight! We need to fight people like her!"

In the image below the violent homosexual mob closes in on the elderly woman moving forward, using their No on Prop 8 signs as some sort of shield.

The elderly woman begins praying.

After ripping the cross from her hands, the homosexual mob surrounds the elderly woman. The elderly woman appears to cower, bent over as if she is trying to avoid being beaten by the violent mob.
