I’m not sure if I would look at that the same way as you.

To be specific - I have run into some “repentant” gay men (online in religion forums) - who recognized their sin and chose to leave that life behind them.
But they were still “gay”.

And part of their repentence was choosing to not live with another man. To not visit their “bookstores” - that sort of thing.

But it didn’t change their attraction to men.

An initiative saying marriage was just between a man and a woman
was passed with something like 73% YES maybe six or seven years ago.
IN CALIFORNIA.

Once they go “forum shopping” again and get the issue on the California
ballot a third time.
