We have no one to blame for this but ourselves.

As the homosexuals pushed their agenda, friendly at first, they, like all tyrants, used incrementalism to inch their way into power. Now they believe they are in power culturally and the tyrant is ripping off his ‘gay’ mask.

The homosexuals don't realize that the mainstream view them as demented perverts who should not have access to mainstream society. The mainstream will begin to separate open homosexuals from any contact with children and, they will be shoved back into the closet, violently if people believe their children or religion is threatened.

Go ahead and play with fire, ‘gay’ community.

I suspect we will see lot of this in the left parts of the country. The left thinks their revolution has been officially launched now and they will be in a hurry to consummate it. The warnings of riots should Obama have lost referred to a possibility that would have been short and violent, some neighborhoods would have been burned then it would be all over. The election of Hussein will be the signal for a four year "riot." to get all those things He promised but that were not delivered on November 5. Stock up on ammo before the government forces the price up 10000%. Neighborhoods need to be protected. At first the Left is trying to hurry things. That will give way to frustration and riotous anger as implementation of the Revolution drags out or is seen to be compromised. This is the instant gratification crowd on steroids.

We know these same people would have shouted to have Christ crucified.

This mindset has never left. Satan is gleeful.

It's disgusting, hideous and far beyond words.

Wow, so much for peaceful protesting.

Whenever you see, hear, or read about something like this, remember these words, written almost 2,000 years ago:

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.

Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.

They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.

In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.

They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.

Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

Romans 1:18-32

well they can pack up all their sex toys and fetishes and move to Connecticut. Now that some state justice decided to legislate from the bench, the New England bi-fecta of Mass-of-2-$h!ts and CT is the fruitloop capitol of America.

“One of the other homosexuals had told him he was hurting their cause by being so confrontational. Unfortunately the hot-head prevailed, and a lot of other protesters joined in with him.”

The only gay man I know well enough to talk to about this stuff does not approve of any of this. He doesn’t approve of gay “marriage” either.
He does think the domestic partnership should be approved so they can visit each other in the hospital - and receive inheritance if their partner dies, but he doesn’t believe in changing the definition of “marriage.”

Actually - he seems fatigued with the whole youth obsessed gay social scene, but you can’t flip a switch and change who you are.
Sad really.

That’s the inherent bias of pseudo-objective media for you, a bias they share with elite universities, the sacred cows of modern secularism. If somewhere there remains a settled truth, and necessarily a hard-won truth, they will seek to controversialize it on the cheap so they can have something to “cover” or “study.” When the dynamics of the controversy shift in favor of the truth, as they always do eventually, their own role as controversialists makes them enemies of the truth, and so they resort to misstatements (”It looks like there is violence from both sides” or “Congress has devolved into partisan rancor”). That’s what it takes to keep the controversy going.

I disagree. The media will ignore it to keep the tide from turning decisively in that direction. That’s the role of controversialists: disturb settled truths, and never let new truths become established.

Many have gone past the outer limits of their frustration level...

..what is left?

In other words, much as I’d like them to be firmly discredited as you describe, I think our only choice would be to pursue the larger enemy, the controversialist industry that gave this movement legs in the first place. To do that I think would require the philosophical step of revisiting and eventually rejecting the idea of controversialism as a good thing for its own sake, an idea which has been festering in our culture since before the American Revolution.
