The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

It was an attempt to reassert there sense of the senate resolution on McCain's Natural Born status, however it would have done more, it would have included Obama, but it was ripped out of the bill before passage.

It has changed over the years, McCain would have to comply with the law 72 years ago, on the other hand Obama would have to meet the requirements, that were in force, in 1961, we don't do retroactive laws, except of course when we want to dig up dead people and tax them as Clinton did.
The military seems to have “special laws” for military personnel all over the world.

The problem is, he was born in a downtown hospital, and for the last time, Panama was never a territory. We bought the land for the canal, and built the canal.(Jimmuh Carter gave it away) We did not have sovereignty over the canal zone anymore than Toyota has sovereignty over the land they have a factory on. I actually doubt most people know what time they were born. Most do know the date though and seeing a new one would be quite memorable. Surprising even.
The term hasn't had an actual legal definition since.
People in a distressed economy with falling livelihoods dont have time to worry about this or that, unless its solving their problems.

But for others, who have bills to pay, mouths to feed and homes to pay for and children to send to school, we are waiting for SOLUTIONS that make us better able to fulfil our livelihoods.
We will work hard and do as many second jobs as possible (and many are doing so already) in order to make it through this downturn.
But all we ask is SOLUTONs. the election is Over. Ok!
