Impaired illegal-immigrant driver triggered a crash Saturday at 6:30 am. He killed a 16-year-old girl and injured her 17-year-old brother. The students were on their way to a school band event. The illegal immigrant driving a truck turned left in front of the students sedan.
Perps name is Manuel Contreras-Galdean age 32. He is in Maricopa Count Jail on a charge of manslaughter and aggravated assault. He has an immigrantion (ICE) hold on him.
The girl ha massive head injuries and damage to her legs from the crash and died in the operating room.
These types of tragedies are all too common. It doesn’t have anything to do with being here illegally. It’s just like when someone points out that a certain person of a certain ethnicity or race commits some crime. Then it gets generalized to all people of that race, that culture, etc. Are there some stats that show that more people who are here illegally kill American citizens than those that are here legally? Just because people are here illegally (which is not to justify that), and someone who was here illegally committed a crime, doesn’t follow that illegal immigration causes crime.
oh, bull. the illegals get stopped for drunk driving and released to do it again and again till they kill someone, they just change their name and move on....a legal resident ends up in jail, probation, rehab...huge difference.

Doesn’t matter, it won’t bring back the person who was killed. It’s not a ridiculous question (and personal attacks are not supposed to be allowed on this site). Even if the incident would have involved legal citizens only, it still points to problems of people not respecting laws or other people.
It is an example of the failure to enforce laws and protect the national security. The next time you see those issues in a traffic death in your hometown, give me a ping.

Again I must ask, are you stating this from statistical fact, or are you just speaking your opinion? Do you really know that illegals get off more than citizens?
It's when an illegal is arrested they are released and then they kill someone. Do you read the papers or somehow follow the news?
There have been tragedies all over the country this year. Maryland, San Francisco, LA, and others. How much of this crap has to go on before you attribute some statistical significance. here's my answer 1.
Why not call the family and say don't blame the idiot mayor and chief of police. It's okay, they would probably have been killed by a citizen anyway.
We have enough crime from citizens, why import more?
A segment of the illegal population does NOT come here to just work hard and to the jobs “American’s don’t want to do”.

That location is in Mesa. Strip annexation in the 80's.
He was already arrested once for this. A DUI is a felony.
I would love to know what was the outcome of his DUI in Tempe. I will go to the criminal court websites to check.
Drunk driving is an Hispanic cultural trait. Not exclusively but very much part of Hispanic culture.
The drunk diving rate among illegal aliens is very very high, as is the crime rate. Way above the general population.

An illegal alien killing, hurting or maiming an American is tragic because it should not have happened to begin with if our borders were secure.
The fact that it does can be blamed on every politician and illegal alien apologist that permits them to be here.
The harsh reality is that America is overrun by the 3rd World, period.
Most of us, over 30, knew a US that was lily-white and neighborhoods were safe and the future infinite.
I have Latino friends who agree that the illegals and mass 3rd World immigration from ALL OVER made the US a weaker place, filled with problems and poverty never known in our nation.
There was another illegal that killed a SF man last week, one that Newsom let go (MS 13), funny, CNN never shows THESE TYPES of STORIES.
But, they do show and re-show the “anti-immigrant” people who, if you listen to their Marxist rants, have no reason to not like illegals...

We have begun the downward spiral. Those that have profited by this don’t care, they have made enough to secure themselves. We will end up like most 3rd worlds; huge poverty numbers and a small ruling class. The middle class is in the process of being destroyed.
I KNOW real Americans don’t drive drunk in the record numbers illegals do, the loss of driving priveledges and the rehab required are not pleasant, but then Americans follow the laws.......and I know illegals hit my daughter and HER insurance had to pay....yes, I have personal experience with this topic.
