Impaired illegal-immigrant driver triggered a crash Saturday at 6:30 am. He killed a 16-year-old girl and injured her 17-year-old brother. The students were on their way to a school band event. The illegal immigrant driving a truck turned left in front of the students sedan.
Perps name is Manuel Contreras-Galdean age 32. He is in Maricopa Count Jail on a charge of manslaughter and aggravated assault. He has an immigrantion (ICE) hold on him.
The girl ha massive head injuries and damage to her legs from the crash and died in the operating room.

We already have that in Cal. No doctor? Go to the emergency room and get free treatment. We have over $14 billion in services a year to illegals.
And Arnie has the brass ones to hold out his tin cup to be BAILED OUT for running in the RED.
We had a propostion denying the services and some judge threw it out. Gay Davis decided to not appeal it. We need a governor and legislature to start all over and fight it all the way to the seupremes. Not gonna happen in Cal.

An article in the Sierra Vista paper two days ago said that La Gubernadora plans to continue to do just that - bill the US Gov't for all the money we're spending to incarcerate and provide medical care for illegals.

Real Americans are a joke to the elites. Did the judges that overturned prop 187 in California (no funds for illegals) even lose a night of sleep for defying the will of the people and, effectively, giving the future of California to Mexico?
They do not fear the people because they have no reason to fear the people.

Charlotte, NC tolerated illegals moving freely up until about two
years ago when a husband and wife got hit by a car driven by an
illegal.
The couple were beloved educators; one died and the other spouse was
severly injured.
The local police then got training on how to detain and interact with
ICE when they found someone they stopped was an invader.
After a year or so, they found that about 90% were “south of the border”
cases...so they were also processing illegals from other areas.
Also, here in Missouri, our Gov. Blunt has been tough on illegals and
has the state law officials shipping them out.
We had a brief influx a couple of years ago, but it appears Blunt
and a few good men (and women) have reversed the tide.

Yes, I would like one of the open border proponents to tell us just how many of us are expendable to suit their political correctness. We’ve lost tens of thousands of US citizens since 9/11 for this. Evidently not enough yet.
We are losing thousands of innocent citizens to foreigners who have infiltrated our country, carrying with them, dangerous weapons. (guns, knives, drugs, disease, and yes, automobiles they can drive while impaired.)
Our soil remains accessable to them with our open borders. We reward the ‘enemy’ by giving them ‘free’ everything they could possibly want.
And, they continue to rape, maim, steal, inflict disease upon us and yes - kill us - every single day.
We are at war, IMHO. And there is no protection for our citizens.

In any other country, in any time in history, especially during war, crossing the border by another country’s military is considered an act of war. Mexico does it all the time, sometimes they shoot at our citizens. Why does Mexico get away with what no nation has ever been able to before??

Could it be that we have an administration that really has a 'soft heart' for the invaders? Nah. No more than both candidates that were running for the POTUS do.
IMHO, no matter who had won this election - the citizens will not have had a say in this: "The illegal aliens will be granted amnesty within six months of the inaguration."
ICE will no longer exist, Border Patrol will cease, our welfare program will go bankrupt and the killings will continue....

true. Him being here illegally has no cause to the accident. The fact that he was drunk that early in the morning is what should be the problem discussed.
The point is this person was here illegally- so this person should not have been here- period. This person caused this wreck- which would not have happened had this person not been here illegally to begin with.
We of course do have citizens and people here legally who drink, drive, and violate every other law on the books which at times causes death and or property damage to others. We do have our own element to deal with, we do not need to add to the problem with people who are here illegally to begin with.
This is very much an immigration issue, illegals are adding to our crime problems as well as the high cost of medical care and social problems. Our politicians and much of the media lies to the citizens, assuring them illegals are all hard working people with great family values who only contribute to our society. The downside to allowing people to come here and be here illegally is seldom mentioned by politicians or in the MSM. The truth is that many illegals contribute to criminal activity and medical costs and social problems.
This story is just one glaring example of the harm caused by illegal immigration. One example of too many to count. Our jails and prisons are overcrowded with illegal criminals and that is only the tip of the iceberg since many illegals are given a pass on breaking our laws.
Wrong. If he wasn't in this country illegally he would have killed someone in his own country.

Yes, let's break the curse of illegals killing Americans. I hope that when you vote next time you remember who is trying to save Americans from the scourge of illegals and who isn't.
Jess, I wish that question didn't need to be asked...but it does. I've had at least three friends/acquaintances involved in DUI accidents that early. And it isn't something limited to illegals or Hispanics.
Thank you for coming on-board to share some background on this story. I feel deeply for the loss of your classmate. Our teens should never have to experience that.
A letter or call to the mayor and city council from tghe school or Senior class might help get Mesa and the greater Phoenix area to realize what a mess they've created.
