The Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread - Monday, November 17, 2008
The E I B Network ^ | 11/17/08 | Rush Limbaugh

AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

We love to hear Rush Limbaugh,
Excellence in Broadcasting.
From sea to shining sea,
Millions and millions listen.
Conservative voice of freedom,
Heard throughout all America.
A message pure and truthful,
The downhearted are encouraged.
Integrity and honesty his motto.
We love you, Rush.
Listen to Rush Limbaugh.
G-d Bless you, Rush Limbaugh.

Hubby did that on our last house, but he put the outlet up high. It was shielded by the eave and no unsightly cord showing! =)

i think it might be the show and not the thread or thread mistress that is the problem - i can't do sean very much - especially after the ‘conservative in exile’ before the election

Why is nobody asking if the UAW will buy GM?

The union should buy GM.

In fact the UNION should be REQURED to buy into GM.

These leftists are masters of Orwellian language.

The Democracy Alliance - to take control away from the people.

Fund for America - fund to take over America

Alliance for a Better Minnesota - Alliance for socialist Minnesota which will not be a “Better” Minnesota.

etc

etc

“maverick” brand was not accepted by the public.

Maverick is just another term for erratic antagonist (in McCain's case old antagonist) who thinks himself so important that he refuses to get along with others, even if he knows they are right.

McCain had no business running in 2008, just like Dole had no business running in '96.

The first plank in the new Republican Contract with America should read: 'We will never again nominate the 'elder statesman' of our party simply because that person claims it's their turn.'

Such a plank would have saved the GOP, and the nation, a lot of damage.

“’We will never again nominate the ‘elder statesman’ of our party simply because that person claims it’s their turn.’”

Like it or not, it was the Republicans in California that decided who our nomineee would be.

Yes. Florida also.

The most effective things the RNC could do the next 2-4 years is.....

First, rid every state possible of early voting... which is rife with fraud...not to mention that early votes are uninformed votes as MANY THINGS occur in the final weeks of a campaign that would change a voter's mind.

Second: file federal and state lawsuit after lawsuit against ACORN and any community organizer which so much as looks in the direction of the Democrat candidates. IT is ILLEGAL for non profits like ACORN to campaign solely on behalf of one party or one candidate, and the GOP has ample evidence to get some action.

The questions is does the GOP have the balls to force the issue.

Thirdly, revamp the Republican primary system. Have them on different days than the Democrats if necessary.

It always made sense to me to have a regional type primary, where perhaps all the states in one region (the south, for example) vote in January....

The west/Pacific states vote in February.... and the north/New England states vote in March.....

or something like that.

The current system puts too much power in the hands of Iowa and New Hampshire.

Fourth: immediately launch a MoveOn type organization which can send swarms of volunteers around the country to critical states.

The MoveOn nutjobs might be anti-military, wimp ass cretins... but they are effective in invading a state, and then 'framing' the issues by making a stink in the local press.

Bus loads of MoveOn.assholes rolled into my county in early October, and within six hours they had put up thousands of Democrat Obama (and local lib candidates) campaign signs on roadways, yards....

And they stuck around, and made a difference.

In the fall of 2011, Republicans should encourage all of our presidential candidates to remain in the race until May, or later. Last Jan., ex-Sen. Thompson, Rep. Tancredo, Rep. Hunter, and ex-Mayor Giuliani dropped out of the race, and many voters, who wanted to vote for them, didn’t have the opportunity to do so. They quit after only three or four states held primaries or caucuses, and they didn’t know the views of at least 46 states.
