This is probably one reason why, as The Arizona Republic reported Monday, the FBI has stepped up scrutiny of Shahin and other Muslim leaders in Phoenix.
Omar Shahin has been in the news before. He is the spokesman for a group of six imams who sued US Airways after being removed from a flight in 2006 when passengers and crewmembers reported that they were behaving suspiciously. The imams were handcuffed and later interrogated, then released with no charges, whereupon Shahin led a news conference to condemn prejudice against Muslims. All six imams later sued the

I know & that makes me angry too. These muslims need to stay in their homeland where their sharia law is the normal way of life.
It wasn’t lost on me that it was Phoenix. I don’t think that McCain threw it, but I do wonder if the fact that he lost emboldened those who wish to ‘speak out’. And I doubt we’ll hear similar comments from Chicago.
Where are the gay activists? They can not wait to storm Christian churches, man handle old ladies, or protest in front of Mormon churches. They know that the Muslims will not put up with that kind of outrage. This is a clear example of the respect that is given to force. The gay force inflicted on law abiding people results in extortion of the non-violent. The preceived violent nature of Muslims protects them from extortion.
