As Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin settles back into her job as the state's chief executive, a new ethics complaint filed Tuesday after her interview with Fox News' Greta Van Susteren says Palin already is improperly mixing her official duties and broader political ambitions.

By Kyle Hopkins Anchorage Daily News ANCHORAGE — She's a national political figure and one of the world's most famous people. She's also governor of Alaska.

As Sarah Palin settles back into her job as the state's chief executive, a new ethics complaint filed Tuesday says she's already improperly mixing her official duties and broader political ambitions.

The charge: Palin broke state ethics rules by holding national television interviews about her run for vice president from the governor's office.

The complaint comes as Palin's personal life, her prospects as a future presidential candidate and everything she says and does continues to draw headlines.

Dittos to that. I can’t believe these idiots. And the dip that filed the suit claims to be a “fiscal conservative”. What a crock!

Everyone in the country is sh*tting their pants over Sarah, a sure sign that she’s an up-and-comer. No one ever said a word about Mitt Romney mixing his duties as Governor of Massachusetts and his obvious national ambitions - which were obvious way before he deserted the Commonwealth and handed the ball to his Lieutenant Governor.

The politics of personal destruction carries on.

I guess every other governor that does a TV interview will now be subjected to ethics complaints?

Perhaps only the Republican ones.

You’re so on.

I hate to say it, heaven forbid, but if Al-Qaeda succeeds even ONCE, it will completely expose Eclair’s ineptness, not because of his failure to be able to stop it, insomuch as his poor response to it.

That’s when Palin will become a clear and convincing choice to the majority. Suddenly, Americans will love a gun-totin’ Mama. Sad to say it will come with a price.

If that’s the best they can do, we’ll be seeing President Palin swearing in during Jan 2013.

Sad excuse for a complaint.

Not only that, but the campaign itself became his resume for the Presidency!

Sooooo an interview in the Governor’s office is not ethical but a “Monica” in the Oval Office is a private issue between two consenting adults.

Sometimes it gets really hard to keep up with the new definition of what is ethical and not ethical.

Maybe this is a new tactic of the left to silence their enemies - file lawsuits over imaginary infractions every time a conservative says something. The radical left is emboldened to think that just because they won an election they have a mandate to throw away the First Amendment.

Like I’ve said. The left and many on the right see that they have to make her absolutely irrelevant right away, so they are trying everything in the book to take her down.

Shine on, Sarah! They cannot change our view of you. They’ll just look more ridiculous all the time...and that’s really not so bad, after all.

Halcro ran against Palin in the governor’s race and lost. Then he basically started up a Daily Palin Derangement Syndrome Blog. He’s the one that started the whole inane troopergate nonesense. I think he never got over being beaten by a girl.
