The security issue is the ONLY thing I’ll cut the Secret Service (not Obama) a break on about this. If they felt it was so much better for the safety of the kids.

While governor, G. W. Bush’s daughters went to Austin High School. Jenna went to some regular college (in Texas) when President Bush was in office. And obviously not so “protected” that she couldn’t get into a little bit of trouble during the party scene thing as some college kids are inclined to do - not that I would know anything about that ;) Obviously not the same thing as a small child of course.

Comparing the security considerations of a Texas Governors daughters to those of the next POTUS?
Please! LOL!

Leave the Obama’s kids alone.
Plenty of grist for the daily mill are provided by the antics of President-Elect Mr. & Mrs. Obama, not to mention other adult members of their extended family, foreign and domestic.

Leave the kids alone.

Not sure what you’re all in a tiff about with regards to Obama’s kids in my previous post. I agree - his two cute little girls are way off limits. In fact, I think anything that is not related to the way he and his wife thinks is off limits (for example how they look, etc.).

The Quaker Friends’ can be sure to reinforce in Obama’s children his anti-America, socialist world view.

“Because of security issues, I don’t have a problem with this. First, kids shouldn’t be a part of a political disagreement. Second, the kids of a POTUS really are subject to special dangers.”

They deserve to be protected, no Secret Sevice problem there, but you are assuming that more dangers exist in govt. ed. versus private ed. That’s classist. Methinks you take issue with the great unwashed. I am sure there are some perfectly good public ed institutions in DC without errant gun-play.

“First, kids shouldn’t be a part of a political disagreement.”

Go talk to Trig and Bristol about this little sentiment. It will cut both ways. Nothing is off base for the left these days so deal with it.

Nonetheless, Jenna Bush went to UoTexas without any national security issue arising. That is a public college the last time I checked. The difference is?!?

This private elite school costs 30k a year and the obvious hypocrisy is beyond laughable when the vast majority of black parents would jump at the chance to properly educate their children. The majority are left with no ‘choice’ in the matter.

Some animals are more equal than others...

Btw, before the flame. . . I am not bringing the kids into the debate. . . But the AP certainly did.

Nice attempt at smearing anyone’s character who dissents w/ little lord barry BOHICA’s decision making process. Nice trick of verbiage, will not work here.

What I am doing is questioning obama’s decision to ignore a vast swath of his own ‘unfortunate’ electorate. But then again, we have come to expect this disdainful behavior from the socialistas. The more things ‘Change,’ the more they stay the same.

LLBB continues to express utter contempt for the very children that he proclaims to protect by forcing them into schools that thrive on breeding the soft bigotry of low expectations.

To me, this is beyond snobbery for his fellow man.

Because my enemy behaves unethically does not mean that I should.

Besides, when we expose a Potus or family to danger, the ones who will pay the price will be our brave young men and women from a variety of super-elite forces.

So....I really don’t care WHERE his kids go to school so long as it is secure. If this school fulfills that, then I’m OK with it.

It takes a special deep reservoir of liberal hypocrisy to do something like this with a straight face.

I will say they are consistent, the kids certainly don’t attend Chicago public schools currently, either. So the hypocrisy is long standing.

True.

However, let’s not risk young kids or our elite troops/services.

“Because my enemy behaves unethically does not mean that I should.”

The Rules for Radicals have changed. Deal.

I have maintained a position buttressed with fact, logic, & reason without interjecting the kids.

Semantically, I want Barry to live up to his words, just his words. Am I not my brother’s keeper?

I’m glad you can so blithely ignore educational genocide. I choose these words carefully.

Education, or the lack thereof, has become this great nation’s soft-underbelly.

I can not and will not stand for blatant hypocrisy from our elected leaders on the matter.

“Besides, when we expose a Potus or family to danger, the ones who will pay the price will be our brave young men and women from a variety of super-elite forces.”

For you to imply that I am lobbying to expose anyone to danger is asinine. Those ‘super-elite forces’ of which you spoke, the best among us are daily exposed to those dangers and train continually to mitigate any threat. Those threats will never lessen, they only become greater, no matter the political party in power.

We know a great deal about these state secrecy issues because the NYSlimes, et al have informed the world about them. Hello Daily Threat Assessment IOW the Presidential Daily Briefing.

Daily danger is their duty. They take an oath, with sincere, patriotic gusto. I went to school with those brave individuals. They are better than I. They are my closest friends. I consider them family so I do not take their safety lightly. I abhor the assertion that I do.

Happy Thanksgiving & Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I used zero 2nd person pronouns. I exclusively used 1st person pronouns. Therefore, there were no assertions and no lobbying. I stated fact: to endanger Potus or family will endanger our best of the best.
